Why weren't big Bollywood celebrities asked to tweet about Col. Vaibhav Anil Kale when he died serving with the UN in Gaza? Why didn't the PM post a single tweet for him? Why didn't his death receive the same major attention? And why weren't those responsible called terrorists?

A most immediate step must be to remove Form 7 entirely in finalising voter lists - the one used to raise objections to someone’s name in a voter’s list. This has been abused by raising objections in bulk against Muslims n others, not favourable to the BJP. It is un-democratic.

President Masoud Pezeshkian came to New York with a written text. After hearing Donald Trump at the same rostrum the day before, he set it aside, telling delegates he had prepared a speech before the US president called Iran a terrorist state. He was, by most accounts, the first leader to speak at the UN in person in the middle of a war with the United States. Speaking from the heart is why the historic address will be heard well beyond the hall. It should not hide how precise it was - legally, morally and strategically. He opened with photographs of dead children, victims of American and Israeli bombs, and a direct reply: "We have been the victims of terrorism." "We have only defended ourselves. We are not terrorists." Palestinians know this inversion well. A people defends itself, and the aggressor calls the defence terrorism. Anyone who has watched the last seven months with clarity will recognise it. He answered the bullying Trump had put on display, musing aloud about annihilating Iran, by standing on the ground of law. Everything said against Iran from that podium, he argued, contradicts the UN Charter. He is right. Article 2(4) forbids not only the use of force but the threat of it, and a head of state weighing the annihilation of a fellow member state before the General Assembly is as plain a threat as the Charter's drafters could have imagined. Iran asks for no special treatment, only the sovereign equality the Charter promises every member. On the nuclear file his formula was "no nuclear weapons, and no limitations to peaceful nuclear technology." That is the NPT's own bargain: the treaty bars non-nuclear states from acquiring the bomb, and its Article IV guarantees the "inalienable right" of every party to peaceful nuclear energy "without discrimination." He was equally plain that Iran built its defences to guarantee that any strike on its cities is answered. In Nicaragua v. United States, the ICJ held that international law places no limit on a sovereign state's armaments beyond what it accepts by treaty. He also took apart the Israeli-made story that Iran's political establishment is on the verge of collapse, and that Iranians would welcome foreign invaders. For seven months people have been in the streets daily in support of the defence effort. The same fact answers Trump's claim that the Iranian state has killed tens of thousands of its own people. A population does not rally under bombardment behind a government it regards as its killer. Then he named the war crimes. He showed images of the Shajareh Tayyebeh primary school in Minab and of a sports hall in Lamerd where children had been playing. A weapon that scatters tens of thousands of tungsten fragments cannot be used on a school or a gymnasium without striking indiscriminately. A UN fact-finding mission reported this month that there are reasonable grounds to believe the United States committed war crimes in the February 28 strikes. The US delegate left the hall during this passage. Pezeshkian drew the parallel with Gaza, where the ICJ has ordered Israel to prevent acts of genocide and the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for its prime minister and former defence minister. He turned next to Israel's nuclear arsenal. Israel stays outside the NPT and accepts no comprehensive safeguards, although the Security Council called on it in Resolution 487 of 1981 to place its facilities under IAEA safeguards, and the General Assembly repeats the call every year. Israel has struck the capitals of its neighbours in breach of the Charter and carries out a documented pattern of war crimes, yet keeps its weapons with impunity. Iran, which has acted only in self-defence for two centuries, is sanctioned and attacked instead, although its facilities remain under an IAEA safeguards agreement. On Hormuz, he described a strait closed to Iran even as it serves to ship missiles and weaponry into the surrounding region. The law of the sea does not allow this. The 1982 Law of the Sea Convention, which Washington invokes but has never ratified, requires ships passing through a strait to refrain from any threat or use of force against the states bordering it. Under the older rule of innocent passage, a ship serving an attack on the coastal state is no longer in innocent passage at all. Iran will not be shut out of its own waters while others use them to make war on it. He closed on the indivisibility of security: it exists for everyone in the region or for no one. The idea has a long pedigree. European states wrote it into the Helsinki Final Act in 1975 and restated it in 1999, pledging not to strengthen their own security at the expense of others. "We want strong neighbors," Pezeshkian said. Iran has always been open to diplomacy, "without accepting the language of force." @drpezeshkian

The framework measures catch-up efforts rather than clean air baselines. Because Panchkula doesn't qualify for NCAP, it misses out on: • Central clean-air funding & grants • Targeted green mobility schemes • National recognition for civic & PMDA green initiatives

Why is Panchkula still excluded? The fatal filter is NCAP status: Survey ranks ONLY "non-attainment" cities—those with a history of violating national air standards. Panchkula maintained clean air and never breached limits. Zero history of failure = complete disqualification.

Penalized for having clean air? That remains the reality for Panchkula under #SwachhVayuSarvekshan. While the survey now includes smaller cities (<3L & 3–10L categories), Panchkula is still locked out. The real barrier? The non-attainment paradox 🧵👇 #CleanAirforall

While millions across India are distracted by the manufactured-Delhi-Gymkhana-Club-“crisis”, petrol and diesel prices have increased for the 4th time in 11 days; the rupee continues to free-fall; 2 lakh crore has been pulled out of the Indian stock markets by foreign portfolio investors (FPIs); and worst of all, millions of jobless-cockroaches have broken free! We’re all mere pawns in a mass distraction game for which hundreds of chest-thumping-fraud-nationalists have been enlisted across news and social media networks. #DelhGymkhanaClub

Read till the end:  SpiceJet cancelled my Delhi to Srinagar flight (PNR: H8FKMY) today. It was at 11:15 am, and they informed me only at 9:20 am. I was taking my 60+ old parents to Kashmir for their anniversary. They travelled all the way from Rohtak, reached the airport on time, only to be told there’s no flight today. Their entire plan for the next 5 days is ruined. When I tried to rebook for today, fares were already higher. And the moment I clicked “pay,” the price jumped another 40%.  So, I booked for tomorrow, but it cost way more than the SpiceJet tickets I paid for. SpiceJet says they’ll refund the cancelled flight but what about the extra money I had to pay? What about hotels refusing refunds for the lost day? What about the taxi costs and the stress my old parents had to go through? Just for my own curiosity, I tried cancelling the Indigo flight I booked for tomorrow. Guess what? They wanted more than ₹5,000 per ticket as cancellation fee, just 10 minutes after booking. All this in the name of “base fare” and “fuel surcharge.” Base fare they’ll recover anyway by selling the seat at a higher price to someone else. And fuel surcharge? Is fuel price fluctuating every single minute? Airlines and apps happily charge “convenience fees,” but when they ruin your plans, there’s no inconvenience fee for passengers. No cancellation fees for passengers. Just a cold “write mail to us.” You may get a voucher from their airline. The staff at the counter have no power, yet they’re the ones who face all the anger. The real decision-makers sit on annual packages worth crores, but don’t lift a finger when it comes to fixing anything real. FYI: At European airports, airlines are required to give a full refund and pay up to £600 to passengers when they cancel a flight. Even if it’s an Indian airline operating there, the same rule applies. These airlines pay compensation there, even for a flight delay. But what about Indian Janta?  We’re not flying for free, we pay taxes on every single ticket we buy. GST, User development fees, airport charges and even for our security.  Anyway, DGCA rules say 24 hours’ notice is required before cancelling. Why was this ignored? Staff claimed “technical fault” in the plane, but I doubt it. I want SpiceJet to share how many seats were actually booked for this flight. Was the flight only 30-40% full and cancelled for that reason? I didn’t see many passengers stranded there. These airlines keep sinking and government keeps negotiating. Aviation minister, where are you? Ministers fight for cabinet seats, they take one, enjoy the power and go, but ordinary people keep suffering because of government’s policies. At least one minister has to set an example. I want answers. And I want real compensation, not just vouchers or empty apologies. @RamMNK @DGCAIndia @flyspicejet

*Opposing the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's claim regarding geographical position of Ujjain and introduction of Mahakal Standard Time (MST) in place of GMT, Dr. Tarun Kanti Naskar, General Secretary of AISEC has issued the following statement:* The recent claim by Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan that "Ujjain is where the Equator and Tropic of Cancer meet" is fundamentally incorrect and represents a shocking disregard for basic science. Geometrically and geographically, this statement is an impossibility. The Equator (0° latitude) and the Tropic of Cancer (roughly 23.5° N latitude) are parallel east-west circles on the Earth's sphere. Because they are parallel, they can never intersect. Furthermore, while the Tropic of Cancer does pass through central India, the Equator lies entirely south of the country. For the Education Minister to bypass middle-school geography in a public forum is highly concerning. We are well aware of the historical context that before the necessity of global standardization, it was universally common for ancient civilizations to establish their own local prime meridians based on culturally significant cities—just as the Greeks used Alexandria, Islamic scholars used Baghdad, and the French used Paris. In this exact same logical tradition, ancient Indian texts like the Surya Siddhanta considered Ujjain the prime meridian of their coordinate system. However, acknowledging this rich, localized history of ancient astronomy is entirely different from justifying it today by inventing demonstrably false modern geographical claims. The fact remains: Since all places of Earth with different longitudes have different times, one just has to fix a particular longitude line as the basis and measure the times of all other places with respect to that. It can be any arbitrary line and there is no special significance of this line. It is just that historically the longitude of Greenwich has been adopted internationally as that line. So it is palpably clear that Shri Dharmendra Pradhan's only design is to glorify Ujjain's geographical position, without any scientific basis, for introducing 'Mahakal Standard Time' (MST) in place of GMT, thus making our country laughingstock before international community. We oppose this design of Union Education Minister and demand immediate withdrawal of the statement.

UN has been reduced to a joke by Israeli Nazi IDF. Unable to hold Israeli Army accountable for deaths of its personnel. Colonel Anil Waibhav Kale’s murderers in Israeli Army remain unidentified till date.
A peacekeeper was tragically killed last night when a projectile exploded in a UNIFIL position near Adchit Al Qusayr. Another was critically injured. No one should ever lose their life serving the cause of peace.

🚨 A word of caution for Honda car owners in Bangalore. @Honda @HondaCarIndia I gave my Honda City e:HEV for service at Dakshin Honda on March 4th, 2026. TPMS installation was part of the service request. They confirmed it was done. I paid ₹10,949 in addition to regular service When I got my car back — the TPMS had NOT been installed. What followed was worse: ❌ Followed up from the very next day and explained the issue ❌ The Service Manager stopped picking up my calls ❌ Escalated to Honda India Customer Care ❌ Honda India simply forwarded it back to Dakshin Honda ❌ Nearly 3 weeks later — no installation, no refund, no accountability This isn't a service lapse. This is being charged for work that was never done — and then being stonewalled when you raise it. Rs. 10K is not a big money. This raises question on what is the authenticity of the service. Usually they say, we repaired, replaced particular oil or part. There is no way, we can verify it. When the customer trust is broken, brands disappear. I have been using various Honda vehicles from 2000. This is something i never experienced so far. I'm sharing this publicly because the internal escalation channels have failed. Consumers deserve to know. @Honda India — I'd appreciate a response that actually leads to resolution. #ConsumerRights #HondaIndia #DakshinHonda #CustomerExperience #Bangalore
