Some people will come for you defending folks they've never seen the other side of. Taking up for their faves, riding for people who've never once been held accountable, or showing up as the flying monkey sent to do damage control. Let them. Everybody's loyalty eventually gets tested. One day, in their own timing, they'll find out exactly who that person really is. And even if it's not with the person they're defending, life has a way of coming back around. One day, somebody will do them wrong, and they'll be the one needing someone to believe them, to understand their side, to see their pain. That's when they'll remember every time they refused to give that same grace to someone else. Some people just have to learn the hard way. Time reveals everything
