We’ve read every reply this week about CREDIT not selling, 503s, and how staker usage is funded.
Thank you. This is the feedback that pushes us to make big changes.
Here’s where things stand and what’s next 🧵
Where $SURPLUS creator fees go next:
Starting with the next update, 20% of creator fees automatically backs Surplus inference.
And the team has agreed that as demand grows, we can raise it to as much as 50%.
Fees from trading turn into inference for stakers.
$SURPLUS staking has no lock.
Stake in one block, unstake in the next. No cooldown, no unbonding, no waiting days to get your tokens back.
While you’re staked, you earn CREDIT every hour, and CREDIT is free inference on any model.
Most platforms lock you in. We don’t. Check it onchain:

To everyone who called us out: you were right to ask, and we should have answered faster.
Keep the feedback coming. Full details on the upgrade soon.
Surplus is going all-in on inference.
1.27B tokens processed so far. 443M of that in a single day this week.
The demand is on the API side, so that’s where we’re building. The next upgrade is the biggest one yet.
And we’re backing it with the token:
20% of $SURPLUS creator fees now go back into inference capacity and to stakers.
More usage → more fees → more GPUs and more rewards for stakers.
Details soon.
Surplus is now ranked in @OpenRouter Coding apps.
937M+ tokens routed through surplusllm.com, and climbing every day.
Same models, cheaper inference. Plug it into your coding agent and see.

Venice models are live on Surplus.
4 uncensored models, served on @AskVenice own GPUs, same Surplus key
