Went to the North Shore to watch surfers at Pipeline today. Kelly Slater rode by me on his bicycle and I screamed, “Kelly Slater!” I embarrassed myself. If it was Brad Pitt or George Clooney I wouldn’t care, but Kelly Slater or Tony Hawk and I lose my mind.

Hoar frost was my mom’s favorite part of living in Alaska. Under the perfect weather conditions ice crystals loosely collect on everything. The slightest breeze knocks it off. It only lasts for a few days because it’s so fragile. It’s beauty can be magic making. #alaska
