I’ve given up cooking with gas and now burn scraps of old paper to prepare food. I keep calculating the cost of bread and water, knowing that my mother’s cancer treatment is another expense we cannot ignore.
I’m sharing this because I want people to understand what their support would actually mean for us. It isn’t about making our lives comfortable. It’s about having food to eat, water to drink, and being able to get my mother the treatment she needs.
I know everyone has their own struggles, and I don’t take any help for granted. But if you have the means to contribute, please consider helping my family. We need real support to meet needs that return every single day.
