I was a fit, healthy, vibrant young women before #vaginal #Mesh ruined my body & my life! Unless you have experienced mesh complications you have no idea how much pain it causes! I am sick of this pernicious pain. @BBCNews #SlingTheMesh #ImAMeshVictim @DHgovuk @Royston_Smith

FirstDoNoHarm Cumberledge report was published 6 years ago, yet Mesh & sodium Valporate victims are still waiting for the Government to implement the report recommendations! Victims deserve better & need compensation. immdsreview.org.uk/downloads… Mesh lives matter. @MeshCampaign
Kath Sansom lists off the impact vaginal mesh has had on some victims, saying 'they're not little complications, they're devastating'. She goes on to say that some days when she looks at the support group, it feels like a 'dystopian nightmare'

news.sky.com/story/victims-o… Dr Henrietta Hughes, author of the Hughes Report, says victims of vaginal mesh & sodium valproate “deserve justice”, and we agree - Yet the government’s repeated response to calls for redress? ….. “We’ll provide an update in due course.” Translation: 🚨No timeline. 🚨No urgency. 🚨Just more waiting. It’s been over 2 years since the report recommended a compensation scheme. With an interim payment in 2025. Families are still suffering with no action. “In due course” isn’t justice — it’s further delay. #MeshScandal #Valproate #HughesReport #RedressNow #Bloodscandal

Let’s hope whichever party is elected on July 4 puts financial redress for women harmed by #Mesh and families affected by #Primodos & #Valproate at the heart of their manifesto #generalelection

Secondly, I was able to intervene to raise how necessary urgency is for victims awaiting justice. Sadly, many victims, such as those harmed by Surgical Mesh, Sodium Valproate and Primodos, tragically pass away before they will ever see compensation or redress.

Too many women continue to suffer the effects of surgical mesh. Today I asked the Government what they are doing to make compensation for these women a reality. #redressnow

It's great that the infected blood victims are receiving compensation, however so should the Primodos victims, the Valproate victims, and the surgical mesh victims. And there should be recognition for us victims of prenatal hormone exposure. bbc.co.uk/news/health-690372…
