A majority of Puyo Puyo fans would have never emerged without the work of piracy and unofficial translations during a time where SEGA felt the franchise was not profitable outside of Japan. Piracy, ultimately, is a necessary evil.

A new fan-made PC port of Tekken 6 has sparked a　debate on Twitter: •Japanese critics: It's unauthorized and violates copyright - follow the law. •Western defenders: It's game preservation, requires players to supply game files, ＆ fills a gap Bandai Namco refused to address.

We encourage people to please officially support the franchise whenever possible, and would give nothing more than to see official re-releases and localizations. But until then, these are necessary for new fans to immerse themselves in the vast offerings Puyo & Madou have.

Hi everyone SEGA has recently had their title’s added to the Xbox Disk-to-Digital program, allowing physical copies of their games to grant an additional digital license If anyone with an Xbox can verify if the Puyo Puyo titles are supported or not, we’d greatly appreciate it.

Probably one of the weirdest Puyo clones we've seen "RJ's Snack Packer" included in the Jakks Pacific Shrek / Over the Hedge Plug N Play, is a puzzle game in which you make chains to fill up a meter to complete stages This game additionally features an endless free play mode.

Unlike other licensed titles (i.e. Timon & Pumbaa's Bug Drop), there is no mentions of SEGA nor Compile within the credits This, and the rest of the games included on the device are playable via MAME.

The Nintendo 3DS version of Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary has been added to @PretendoNetwork’s online functionality support! The’ve linked the @PreciseMuseum english patch within their announcement, using these is now the definitive way to play Puyo and I can’t recommend enough.
