Went 8-4 42nd at Birmingham regionals! My goal was to day 2 and doing so at 6-0, only dropping one game is still so surreal.

Pokemon is still so far from a safe space for women its so sad. We do better than most communities to break down these barriers buts so disgusting how little respect we receive sometimes. A friend of mine went to her first regional today in Frankfurt and I went to bed so excited for her. Only to wake up and be told that her second round opponent called her a prostitute in German after she greeted and spoke to him in English. He seemingly assumed she didn't speak German, and felt comfortable enough to be misogynistic as a result. Be better than this Pokemon community.
