Your systems don’t speak the same language.
“Customer,” “revenue,” “order,” “job”
Every tool has its own version of these words. Most of the time nobody notices until something breaks.
AI doesn’t fix that. It just makes the contradictions obvious faster.
Snowflake just launched Business Ontology setting a good example of making one official definition of those words so every system (and every AI agent) means the same thing.
The hard part is never the model. It is getting everyone to agree on the language first. Interesting read
