The Russian PR opportunity is becoming increasingly evident, a Ukrainian delegation routed through Belarus, flown on a Russian government plane and taken through occupied Crimea. The very state responsible for creating this humanitarian catastrophe now gets to present itself as the rescuer. While still attacking power plants and energy facilities in Ukraine.

Today’s edition of @nypost. As America watches the evacuation operation in Oleshky unfold, the public should remember who is responsible for the countless innocent lives lost in Ukraine. Their blood is on Putin’s hands. To end this war, the U.S. must pressure Russia, not Ukraine. Razom is grateful to @AmericaforUA and @novaukraine for their partnership on this ad.

During the Holodomor when the famine news reached the western press, they started organizing propaganda tour strictly limited to Kyiv to some selected western journalist to make it look like nothing was happening in Ukraine. It seem like we're gonna witness that in 2026.
‼️ Urgent: the situation in Oleshky. The power of social media is real. Whether through X, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp or Viber, people can speak for themselves and share the truth; even when politicians try to obscure the reality. This is the message I received this morning from Oleshky: “Yes, it’s all a staged show. They’re cleaning all the streets, painting the curbs, and sprucing everything up for the cameras. They’re trying to create a pretty picture in the middle of hell. Meanwhile, the Russian military is demining everything and carrying ammo and supplies to their positions — and soon all of that will be flying toward Kherson ((( The number of troops in the city has increased dramatically, there are so many of them...” Please reshare and let those people speak up! @ZarinaZabrisky @anneapplebaum @CaolanReports

Russia is attacking civilian ships in European waters on daily basis now and Europe just sucks it up.
BREAKING: Footage showing an unmanned maritime drone approaching the Liberian-flagged container ship CONTSHIP JET (IMO 9348625) from the starboard side, preparing to attack, has emerged. The video was published by Bulgarian maritime outlet Maritime bg. The vessel was struck by three maritime drones and sank overnight in the Black Sea off Bulgaria’s coast. All 18 crew members were rescued.

A father screams after Russians murdered his daughter, two hours ago in Chernihiv. Massacres all across Ukraine today as Trump and Musk suck Putin's balls for cash. This is now all backed by the White House and MAGA.

And then Russia launched a missile strike right into the center of the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, killing two 15-year-old girls and wounding dozens more. According to reports, the man in the video is the father of at least one of the victims, screaming “No, no, no!!!” in shock and horror over the bodies.

This is beyond horrifying. Russia struck a railway station in Dnipro with a drone, killing 13 people who were simply waiting for their train. The drone operators could see the platform in real time. They could see the civilians standing there. They knew what they were targeting, and they struck anyway.

Musk's latest display of ignorance gave me a good excuse to revisit my summer trip to a Ukrainian POW camp. Nothing makes a better argument about how Russian soldiers are not poor young conscripts than meeting them face-to-face. With my photos: kyivindependent.com/reporter…

Never forget: russia has spent centuries trying to erase Ukrainian identity. In late October 1937, during Stalin’s Great Terror, Soviet authorities began mass executions at Sandarmokh. Between October 27 and November 4, 1,111 prisoners were executed there, including 287 Ukrainians and people connected to Ukraine. Les Kurbas. Mykola Kulish. Valerian Pidmohylny. Among the victims were leading figures of the Ukrainian cultural renaissance of the 1920s — the Executed Renaissance. 89 years later, russia is still trying to erase Ukrainian identity. They tried to erase us then. They will not erase us now.

"And this was largely thanks to the split between eastern voters, who spoke mainly Russian and did not wish to join the the EU or Nato, matched against a more nationalistic and more EU-oriented west. That is why Ukraine escaped Russian-style despotism. But when the eastern-backed (and fairly elected) President Viktor Yanuko- vych was overthrown in an illegal, violent convulsion in February 2014, that all changed." The premise to Peter's criticism is that the book omits important factors. Yet Peter doesn't just omit truth from his analysis, he entirely twists it with things like the above quote. Yes Ukraine was a polarized nation between east and west. However, importantly omissed by Peter, is that Yanukovich ran his manifesto on EU ascension. He may have had larger support in the east, but the people of the East still voted for him because of EU ascension. His unilateral decision to abandon that route and revert back to russia is not what the russian speaking east voted for or wanted. Reading Peter's interpretation of truth in this article you wouldn't thibk that was the case. Yanukovich was removed by eastern and western Ukrainians alike, because he betrayed them and betrayed the nation. Peter's personal love of russia once again seeps through in his pseudo analysis that is laden with bias opinion and important omissions.

BREAKING: The container ship CONTSHIP JET (IMO 9348625) struck by three maritime drones in the Black Sea off Bulgaria’s coast, sank around midnight, Bulgarian authorities have confirmed. All 18 crew members were rescued. The vessel was carrying 421 containers, including fuel and other hazardous materials. 🇧🇬 This morning, Bulgarian authorities will collect seawater samples at five coastal locations to check for possible marine pollution following the sinking and assess the environmental risks posed by the ship’s cargo.

NEW: Russia is actively supporting Houthi operations to disrupt global energy markets by providing the Houthis with satellite imagery of Saudi oil and military infrastructure. Russian satellites have routinely been positioned above major Saudi energy and military sites in the days prior to and after Houthi attacks on those sites since July 2026. (1/2)

Shocking text. “We think it’s safer to wait for the Russians (...) Stay safe". That was the French ambassador in Kyiv, writing to the European ambassadors’ Signal group on 24 February 2022, as explosions were already going off in the city. Lots of EU States participated in this most important diplomatic, military and analytical blunder of this age). For 3 months Dutch intelligence kept telling Prime Minister Rutte that an invasion was “unlikely". The agencies relied on a "trusted source" near the Kremlin who turned out to know nothing, because Putin shared the plan with maybe 10 people. USA put the Russian attack plan on the table. Western EU dismissed it. 12 hours before the tanks crossed the border, Russian forces had already changed how they communicated. But the official Dutch assessment still said war was merely “possible". The head of Germany’s BND was asleep in a Kyiv hotel when bombing started. Fled in a panic. Kept his job.

I was born in Donbas, and I lived in Donetsk until 2014, when the Russian occupation began. The Russians destroyed my home in Lyman. And now someone wants to discuss handing over my land to Russia in exchange for peace??? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Donbas is NOT Trump’s real estate. NOT a gift to Putin. And NOT an item up for sale at an international political auction.

The UN has appointed Russian diplomat Gleb Desyatnikov as Assistant Secretary-General for Mine Action and Police in its Department of Peace Operations. The appointment places a Russian official in a senior UN role overseeing mine-action activities and police-related work within peace operations. Ukraine is the most heavily mined country in the world after the start of the Russian full-scale invasion. Putting a Russian in charge of mine action is...well, it's hard to find a name for it.
According to sources cited by The Wall Street Journal, President Trump's administration has proposed former Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán as a candidate for UN Secretary-General. The United States is reportedly counting on Russia and China to support the idea. The Wall Street Journal notes that Washington not only supported the former Hungarian PM’s decision to enter the race but even suggested the idea to him. According to a preliminary assessment, Orbán could secure eight votes on the UN Security Council "without much difficulty." To receive an official recommendation, a candidate must secure at least nine votes from the Security Council's 15 members, with none of the five permanent members (the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, and France) voting against (i.e., exercising their veto power). Rumors of Orbán's potential candidacy could be part of the ongoing negotiations between the United States, Russia, and China. Orbán is seen as a compromise candidate, combining loyalty to President Trump with close ties to Moscow and Beijing. For Moscow, having its own person in the UN's top administrative position could mean pro-Russian influence within the organization's structures. During his time as PM, Orbán repeatedly criticized and blocked EU sanctions packages against Russia and opposed military assistance to Ukraine. If Orbán becomes UN Secretary-General, Ukraine and Europe could face increased diplomatic pressure, particularly over sanctions and negotiations on Moscow's terms. The Office of the UN Secretary-General sets the agenda and prepares official reports. It is possible that under Orbán, UN institutions could shift their focus away from documenting Russian war crimes and violations of international law and instead seek to obstruct the establishment of a special international tribunal and efforts to secure reparations from Russia.

Jesse Adams, a Canadian volunteer and founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, was killed on October 25 while evacuating animals from Kramatorsk, Ukraine. He was working alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, helping rescue animals and civilians from frontline communities. A russian FPV drone struck the windshield of their evacuation vehicle, which had just been loaded with rescued animals. Jesse suffered severe injuries and later died in hospital despite emergency surgery. He traveled halfway around the world to save lives, only to lose his own to a russian drone while doing exactly that. Hundreds of animals are alive today because of Jesse. Rest in peace, Jesse. Thank you for everything you did for Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin "wanted very much" for U.S. First Lady Melania Trump to mediate the ceasefire in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson Oblast, Marc Beckman, her exclusive senior adviser, told the Kyiv Independent on Oct. 28. kyivindependent.com/exclusiv…

russian terrorists attacked with an FPV drone an animal shelter in Kramatorsk, causing a fire on the second floor of the building where many cats were located. After the firefighters arrived to put out the fire and help evacuate and collect the animals, a russian drone was waiting in the sky… after which it crashed into the fire truck as well. Throughout the full-scale war, this shelter served as a refuge for stray animals and people with pets. The animals that were inside during the strike were carried outside, but some of them ran off into the surrounding area and got lost due to the explosion and shock.

September 30, 2022. Near Zaporizhzhia, russia struck a humanitarian convoy of civilians trying to flee russian-occupied territory. 32 people were killed. More than 90 were injured. And this is what the US calls “humanitarianism.” Remember this.
