There’s a long way to go, obviously, but I’ve never been more confident that we’re going to take our country back.
It’s on.

It is the honour of my life to be standing as Restore Britain's parliamentary candidate for Sittingbourne and Sheppey.
These towns were once at the heart of the British Empire. Under the leadership of Restore Britain, that greatness and prosperity will return.

Our latest Restore Britain prospective parliamentary candidate announcement - Charlie Downes in Sittingbourne and Sheppey.
I look forward to visiting Kent again to help get Charlie into Parliament. We can win this seat, and many others in the county.

That’s how fast politics can flip. Stop blackpilling.

I decided to write an essay giving my full thoughts on where things stand right now after the midterms, and how we rebuild moving forward. It took a lot of time for me to write this, so I hope y’all will read it and take some things away:
Right now, the Republican Party is at its weakest point in a VERY long time, even weaker than in 2008. The other night brought us to the brink of extinction as a party, and it’s clear that we NEED to reform ASAP if the GOP is to remain viable in the future.
Democrats, naturally, are going to overstep their mandate and not deliver normalcy either, and are going to double-down on woke in ways that will make the early 2020’s look like nothing by comparison. Make no mistake, the current Dem coalition with normie Dems and DSA/woke types is BURSTING with tension and NOT sustainable forever. Once Trump is out of office, Democrats will have to reckon with their own demons. Which is why I still believe we can come back and win in the future, but only IF we learn the right lessons.
The way I see it, our blueprint for winning is this: to follow the example set by people like Ron DeSantis, Glenn Youngkin, Brian Kemp, Kelly Ayotte etc. To win, we need to have a coherent message focused on kitchen-table issues like the economy, efficient government, immigration, crime etc. We can focus of culture war issues to some extent, and it’s helped us in the past such as with Youngkin’s education message. But we can’t allow them to become our focal point.
On the economy, get rid of the tariffs. For the love of God PLEASE get rid of the tariffs. Also, fear-mongering about socialism won’t be enough, we need to offer voters a clear vision of our economic agenda and why it’d be good for them.
On immigration, keep deporting illegals, but do it quietly. The brash optics of this administration on immigration have been abysmal and have pushed away many of our Latino gains.
On optics, be normal and inoffensive. People like bland politicians who make them feel secure and they don’t have to see on their TV 24/7. Right now, people are SCREAMING that they want a return to normalcy, and were only willing to tolerate Trump’s brashness because he promised to deliver it to them. And when he failed to deliver on that promise, they punished the entire party for it.
If we can do these things, I fully believe that we can and will win again in the future. Let’s get to work.

Ken Paxton literally was the worst Republican nominee for any office this century. He was worse than Mark Robinson. He was worse than Winsom Sears. He was worse than Doug Mastriano.
I tried to warn everybody about him.
Darlene Graham was another terrible nominee who I also opposed from the very beginning. I said the second she was picked as a temporary replacement for Lindsey Graham that it was a terrible idea. Then when she won the primary for a full term I also thought it was a terrible idea.
We didn’t learn our lesson in 2022 with Kari Lake. We didn’t learn our lesson in 2024 with Mark Robinson. We didn’t learn our lesson in 2026 with Ken Paxton.
We can’t do this again in 2028. I don’t care if it’s an R +30 state. CANDIDATE QUALITY MATTERS.

I want to address an allegation directly, because Reform politicians seem determined to spread the idea that I am somehow working in coordination with the Conservative Party and Kemi Badenoch.
Yes, I was a member of the Conservative Party. In 1993. My children have since been born and grown up. It was more than thirty years ago. Literally, a lifetime ago. Many of the Reform leadership certainly can’t say the same.
Yes, I've met Kemi Badenoch. I speak to her occasionally. I like her personally. We have worked together in Parliament. She spoke positively about our rape gang inquiry, and I thanked her for it.
Numerous Conservative MPs have supported my parliamentary work, including our inquiry.
Esther McVey. Nick Timothy. Jack Rankin. Peter Bedford. I could go on.
I am not going to apologise for that.
I will work with anyone in Parliament who is prepared to help deliver meaningful change. We have achieved results by doing precisely that.
Does that mean I forgive the Conservatives for what they did to Britain between 2010 and 2024?
Absolutely not. It was a betrayal.
I have literally established a national political party to fight them at the ballot box. I am delighted when we beat them, which is a growing amount. All that should be a fairly substantial clue…
But opposing a political party does not require you to behave like a petulant child towards every single person associated with it.
Conservative MPs believed I would do a good job on the Public Accounts Committee. I accepted the opportunity to scrutinise government spending and fight for British taxpayers.
Again, absolutely no apologies. I think we have delivered results.
Now let's compare that with Reform.
Reform tried to have me imprisoned over false allegations. I would be in prison today if they had their way.
Despite everything, I have repeatedly attempted to work with Reform MPs in Parliament. I have invited them to support initiatives, collaborate on important issues and help deliver results.
Time and again, those invitations have been ignored. My emails don’t even get a reply. I happily sign their motions and support their efforts, I did earlier this week. The feeling is not mutual.
They complain. They moan. They attack. They endlessly manufacture personal grievances.
But ask them to put their animosities aside and actually achieve something together?
Suddenly, it's total silence.
I've received more constructive support in Parliament from Labour MPs than from Reform.
Think about that.
It is grievance politics at its most pathetic. Negative, unproductive and deeply unprofessional.
My position is incredibly straightforward.
At elections, we are opponents. In Parliament, we have a responsibility to get things done. I believe that is what our constituents want us to do. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think not.
Reform claim we stand in more local council Reform seats than anyone else. Yes, because so many more Reform councillors resign in disgrace than any other party. We are moving towards standing in 100% of local council by-elections. We’ve stood in Reform seats, Labour seats, Tory seats.
Everywhere and anywhere.
I intend to fight both Reform and the Conservatives for every vote. I want Restore Britain to win over millions of people who previously voted for those parties.
But that does not mean I have to insult everyone I disagree with, refuse to speak to political opponents or sabotage decent initiatives because somebody else might receive a little credit.
I was elected to represent my constituents, not to participate in an endless Westminster playground feud.
Do I like Kemi Badenoch and some other Conservative MPs personally? Yes.
Will I work with them when it benefits the British people? Yes.
Do I fundamentally oppose the Conservative Party's record and want Restore Britain to defeat them electorally? Yes. Their 14 years of power was an utter betrayal, and is largely responsible for the social, economic and demographic vandalism we have endured.
All three things can be true. Any serious adult should be capable of understanding that. It is not difficult to comprehend.
I will work with Conservatives. I will work with Labour. I will work with Reform, if they ever decide to behave constructively.
Reform's increasingly nasty, brash and personally unpleasant approach to politics says far more about them than it does about me. It’s just downright rude.
They seem to believe that refusing to work with anyone is a demonstration of strength. In my view, it’s a weakness that erodes our politics and fails our constituents.
I have said it again and again.
I will work with anyone in parliament to deliver for the British people.
And I make no apologies for doing so.

Beautifully stated.
Two weeks after Obama won re-election in 2012, Republicans across the country felt defeated. I even remember how defeated the donor class felt.
About 10 days after the November 2012 election, a donor in Palm Beach introduced me to a young 19-year-old man named Charlie Kirk. No one really knew who he was then. He had only started his then-unknown organization a few months earlier.
Over the next 12 years, he built an incredible movement that altered the course of history during that decade.
Unfortunately, he was killed last year, but God sent us Charlie Kirk when we most needed him. I believe God will send us more people to help save this country again. The history of America proves it.
Here's the thing: Charlie did a lot of hard work behind the scenes and had a very humble approach to everything he was doing. He did not seek the spotlight. He just did the work, very hard work, long hours, unappreciated for many years. That's what it's going to take for patriots who want to step up and do the work.
There was only one Charlie Kirk. I don't expect another one to come along, but I do expect God to send us some patriots and some good people of faith to do the work that's required to save this country -- the last remaining hope for mankind.
Most Republicans and Democrats at the political level don't really seem to care about anything but themselves. We need people who care about something bigger than themselves like Charlie did. He gave everything. Even if he had not sacrificed his life on September 10, 2025, he had already made huge sacrifices of his life to work every day to return this country to its first principles.
America is never done if we believe -- and take action.
