Cover 4 Palms might be the most MISUNDERSTOOD Match Coverage in #Madden27. 🧠 Against compressed sets like Bunch, it basically plays like normal Cover 4 Quarters. But against 2x2 Doubles or 3x1 Trips, Palms can completely change how the defense reacts. The key trigger: If the #2 receiver attacks the Flat, the Corner and Safety SWAP responsibilities. 1️⃣ The Outside Corner jumps the Flat 2️⃣ The Inside Quarter/Safety takes the vertical threat This can bait some of the easiest Pick Sixes in the game because opponents see a Flat look open and throw directly into the Corner rotating down. This is one of the BEST ways to consistently steal easy yards against Flat Zones in #Madden27. 🧩 Play: Switch HB Wheel Formation: Trips X Nasty Playbooks: 49ers, Buccaneers The setup: 1️⃣ Streak the TE 2️⃣ Slot Fade the Slot WR 3️⃣ Put the RB on an In Route 4️⃣ Put the Outside Trips WR on an Out Route 5️⃣ Stem the Out UP once so it breaks around 7 yards Against Curl Flats, the defender chips the Slot Fade and leaves the Out Route open for 10-15 yards. Against Hard Flats, the RB In Route pulls the Flat inside and leaves the Out open again. Against Cloud Flats, throw above them to the Slot Fade. Your progression: 1️⃣ Out Route / Slot Fade 2️⃣ RB In Route 3️⃣ Backside Short Post And with 85+ Short Route Running, the Out Route can still win against Man Coverage too.
