“Trump’s attempts to rewrite the history of January 6, 2021—and his pardoning of those who violently attacked the Capitol, and the law enforcement called upon to protect it—amount to a reprehensible and unmistakable endorsement of political violence” theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0…

Replying to @RpsAgainstTrump
A woman says she’s trying to get to a doctor — and the state answers with hammers and masks.
Not directions. Not de-escalation. Glass and force.
This is what “law and order” looks like when it’s really just power.
A blocked street becomes a trap. A car becomes a cage. A seatbelt becomes something to cut.
They don’t want compliance — they want a spectacle.
Break the window, drag the body out, let everyone watching learn the same lesson: don’t question, don’t approach, don’t exist nearby.
And notice the pattern:
every encounter gets treated like a battlefield, because the badge has been turned into a permission slip.
If they can do this in broad daylight with cameras rolling…
what exactly do they do when nobody’s filming?

I heard @realDonaldTrump hates this image. Please don't use it to tag him, his staffers, or his media allies.
That would be wrong.

The REAL story on Pam Bondi, Trump University, and Trump's $25,000 payment to Bondi:
1/ In August 2013, I was at the NY AG, and Bondi was Florida AG.
On August 24, 2013, I filed the NY AG's prosecution of Trump University and Donald Trump, for $42 million in fraud. 🧵

Sure I'm paranoid, it's only healthy to be so. But it's worth pointing out that with these propagandists it's always money and it's always Russia. Again and again. I believe in coincidences, but I also believe in the KGB.

Dems are like, “we take institutions seriously so we’ll nominate Merrick Garland who will be meticulous and slow so no one will ever suspect him of political bias” and GOP is like “LOL MATT GAETZ AS AG”
The WSJ has criticized the Gaetz nomination for AG. Why are they surprised? This is what the guy they endorsed said he would do—run the DOJ like it’s purely a retribution shop. Why are they bothered about it now? Don’t they trust their guy’s judgment?

Matt Gaetz.
We're going to hear a lot more about his connections to the teenage sex ring (Venmo, Joel G, etc.), "The Game" in Tallahassee, the dead guy in the dorm room, the DUIs...it's going to be a long, long confirmation.

New: Oil giant ExxonMobil opposes President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to pull out of the Paris climate agreement, a company spokesperson told CNN in a statement.
“A second US exit from the Paris climate agreement will have profound implications for the United States’ efforts to reduce its own emissions and for international efforts to combat climate change,” an ExxonMobil spokesperson told CNN in a statement. “We advocate for policy that accounts for security, affordability, reliability and environmental stewardship – not drastic changes that could hinder the progress being made today.”
This tweet wouldn’t annoy me so such if the @washingtonpost had had the balls to make an endorsement. The fact that it didn’t is one of the reasons for my pessimism.
