Got out for another activation. The park was only 20 minutes from home. Can’t believe I missed this one before. Propagation was so so, and I had to QSY twice when DXers started calling on my frequency, but got it done. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #POTA
Was house sitting for my son and I thought I’d set up a quick little shack on his dining room table. Hunted a few parks and was able to find @k3jrz on 20meters in Delaware. Thanks for the new park, US-1741.
I feel like I’m starting from scratch. Just got a new phone. Apps are all the same but it still feels alien in my hands. Haven’t had a new phone in years, heck, decades.
I was make if DX contacts, and then all of a sudden I couldn’t hear Europe or South America. This explains what the bands all tanked. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio
There go the bands.

Oh that’s even worse. Not getting the 13 colonies award this year. #HamRadio #AmateurRadio

Well, this could make the 13 colonies contest a bit more challenging… #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #SpaceWeather

Well, 2 days of wind storms brought down a couple of trees and branches in the backyard. Spent a day getting it cleared and opened back up. Quit a pile of brush at the curb for the city to take away. Today’s goal, repair the HF antenna. Got to get back on the air. #HamRadio

Ok, I know, I haven’t been on X lately. Guess I was busy studying… and it paid off.

Fun was had!
DX Machine! @SyrFD520 had his G90 and I brought the new and unreleased Rybakov antenna from @relianceantenna. We did a brief #POTA in Irondequoit Bay at US-2082 and got some amazing DX. Video drops on Tuesday. BTW, Chuck is a Chiefs fan and I’m #RaiderNation but we still had FUN!
Loving Officer Kirsten Yule-Zaagman’s accent. I was wondering where she is originally from.
