The world didn’t just show up like this. It was built. By people who wake up before sunrise. People who make things. People who take risks. People who refuse to stand still. Power for the Free is our story about the builders shaping America’s future. This is for everyone creating what comes next.

The grid doesn’t run itself. It takes people and great leaders to keep the lights on. Army veteran Daniel Maxwell is helping develop those leaders across America’s electric cooperatives through Summit Point Leadership. Proud to support him through the America 250 Builder Fund. 🇺🇸

The energy transition needs builders. Navy veteran Harper Jones is training the technicians who install, commission, and maintain the battery storage systems supporting America’s grid. We’re proud to support GreEnergy Resources through the America 250 Builder Fund. 🇺🇸

America is built by builders. Today, we’re proud to recognize 11 veterans who are doing exactly that. Through the America 250 Builder Fund, T1 Energy and Project Vanguard set out to support veterans building the next era of American independence across energy, manufacturing, skilled trades, logistics, small business, local supply chains, workforce training, and technical services. This is about backing people who are putting their experience, skills, and entrepreneurial spirit to work building stronger businesses, stronger communities, and a more self-reliant America. Let's keep building. Learn more in 1st comment.

Section 232 is about encouraging America's ability to build. The proclamation strengthens domestic solar manufacturing, and supports investment across the U.S. supply chain. That's good for American manufacturing. That's good for American energy.

Demand for American solar remains strong. T1 has signed a 641MW offtake agreement with Clearway Energy, a leading American integrated clean energy company, for solar modules built with domestic solar cells from G2_Austin. We Build Energy. Link in 1st comment

T1 is taking another step toward building a bright solar future. We've acquired foundational TOPCon solar intellectual property from Evervolt technology. This strengthens our strategy to build the first fully integrated U.S. polysilicon solar supply chain while creating new opportunities through licensing, innovation, and manufacturing. More than making solar. Owning the technology behind it. Read more, link in the first comment.

Rain delays don't last, but progress does. After several days of rainy weather cleared in Rockdale, Texas, our crews were back at sunrise pouring the concrete slab for Phase 1 of our new solar cell fab, G2_Austin. One step closer to expanding American energy manufacturing.

Solar generated 15% of Texas's electricity in the past year. Solar grew more in 5 years than gas did in 20 — *in absolute terms*, and more in the past 2 than gas did in 10.
Texas hit a July demand record and prices *peaked* at just $0.06/kWh. Gas was flat because solar and batteries carried the entire peak. Tons of spare capacity. New York needs to copy Texas.

250 years ago, America bet on builders. On the people willing to dream bigger, work harder, and create what didn't exist before. That spirit still powers this country today. Here's to abundance. Here's to optimism. Here's to the next 250 years. Happy Independence Day. 🇺🇸
