Exceptional teachers shape thriving communities!
Read Superintendent Johnson’s op-ed on how APS is #EmpoweringTeachers, investing in excellence, and helping shape a brighter future for Atlanta’s children.

Jury Duty. @ClaytonCountyGA has the most inefficient administrative practices for the courts operational system. When was it determined that the power was out, and why is there no better solution than for citizens to stand in the wind, cold & rain with no ETA for entry update?

An energized leadership team, motivated staff, and eager students were all set & ready to go!! Coupled with a special visit from Mays Alumni and ATL’s Mayor, @andreforatlanta - what a strong start!

Love, love, love!! They will never forget this! I vividly remember our Home Ec teachers at @apsDouglassHigh teaching us about place settings and then taking us out to dinner to try it out. The bread plate still confuses me, but I do remember everything else. 🥰
Our LOTUS Ladies mentoring group is a way for our young girls to build confidence, relationships, and create memories that I hope they never forget. I 💕 our beautiful, graceful, budding flowers. Bud, Bloom, Blossom 🌸🌷🪷 @APSTAGAcademy @Retha_Woolfolk @DrLisaHerring

Ms. Hollis was a member of the Troup County election board starting in 2013. She advocated for Sunday voting and pushed for a new precinct at a Black church.
In 2021, she was removed from the board as a result of a law signed by Brian Kemp. #GeorgiaRemembers
