You don't need a big party machine with lots of money to run a decent campaign. Just hard-working, dedicated people who focus on their community and the issues that mean the most to them. Progressive, community politics beats hatred and division. 🧡💚
Yeesssssss!! We won by 144 votes. Unbelievable result Provide an alternative to Reform Thanks to the @TheGreenParty @ZackPolanski & the other independent for stepping aside to beat Reform @councilsUK @ElectionMapsUK

Welcome to the family @NottmPA
BREAKING: Six former Nottingham Labour councillors have quit the group to form a new party. The defectors say Labour has been complicit in a genocide in Gaza and that the city council's leadership has become a "small clique". More on @nottslive. nottinghampost.com/news/nott…

If anyone was believing the hype, this is the view of a recent senior Nottm City Councillor who sees #Broxtowe as a rotten borough and Beeston, Stapleford, Kimberley and Eastwood as “meaningless suburban towns”. It is a remarkable insult and shows what the City thinks of us.

So many passionate, community minded people (familiar faces and new) coming together to share ideas about how we can have positive impact in Broxtowe and beyond. Feeling really grateful and inspired 😁
Not even a month old and what a crowd for our first members meeting. Give people hope, agency & a sense of community & they will turn up The revolution starts in the back room of the local British Legion ✊

She’s listened to the ‘non -dom community’ but not the WASPi women, the pensioners, the charities demanding a rethink on the 2 child benefit cap, the working class communities left behind. It’s astounding that this is the LABOUR Party, a LABOUR government!
Rachel Reeves says she'll amend the finance bill to soften planned changes to the non dom tax regime after intense lobbying from wealthy UK residents 🤨 The govt will increase the "temporary repatriation facility" which allows non-doms to bring money instantly to UK without paying significant taxes. “We have been listening to the concerns that have been raised by the non-dom community,” she says.

Absolutely! You have to get out there, and we will be doing the same in Beeston on 11th Feb at Middle St Resource Centre 6:30pm. Come and join us.
Nobody is ‘hard to reach’. We have to make our methods of communication reachable. Another example of small politics 👇 Regular Community Meetings 👇 Bringing the local Cllrs, the Police and Council Officials out into the heart of the Community.

No-one voted for this. We expected it from the Tories, but not from @UKLabour. Make no mistake, this is a choice and they’re “choosing” not to rebuild QMC until 2037 🏨💔
NEW: @nottmhospitals Chief Executive Anthony May says the Trust is “very disappointed” at delays to the redevelopment of QMC and City Hospital He says it will “considerably impact our patients and staff for the coming years”

Always have a great time at these events, and yesterday's was no different. It's so lovely to see everyone working together to help stuff last longer. The next café is on Saturday 17th May. Look out for booking details closer to the time. 🙂
The Power of Small Acts 👇 While individually they may appear inconsequential, collectively they form the fabric of our interactions and contributions to society Our Cllr at the local Repair Cafe yesterday simply mending other people’s clothes. Community- minded actions matter

Keir Starmer has turned his back on the working class. It’s not the Party we campaigned for or the Party he promised. Our Cllr explaining to ITV News why we had to make the difficult decision to leave, we needed to focus on the people in Broxtowe not the people in Westminster
