"i am so very very sad to hear of the passing of Eddie Gray, my friend and guitar player in the original Shondells. Eddie, along with Mike Vale, Ron Rosman and Peter Lucia, played a huge part in my success and the success of the band. I will miss him very much!" ---Tommy James

Calvert and Old Fort are in the D-VII regional volleyball tournament. Colonel Crawford plays for a D-V title and Mohawk for a D-VI crown Thursday night. Bucyrus made it to the D-VI district semifinals as did Upper Sandusky in D-IV and Hopewell-Loudon. Kudos to the Northern 10.

Timeout Columbian! Ashland stretches a 10-4 lead in the second set.
Set 1: Columbian 26, @Ashland_Arrows 24
Tornadoes close the set on a 24-15 run capped off with an Alexa Beaston ace.
That's only the fifth set the Arrows have dropped on their 22-match win streak ... and it's undoubtedly the most painful one.

Crawford County will be without a postseason represenatative in football for the first time since 2018 and just the fourth time this century — Week 10 marked the end of the season in 2001 & 2004.
This comes one year after producing a state semifinalist and regional runner-up 🤯

Sorry, but I’m over the international games. They disrupt the schedule and take a toll on players’ bodies. The NFL doesn’t need to go international, and shouldn't. We have our version of football, and they have theirs. That’s okay.
