ALT Image of the standard edition art for DOOM: The Dark Ages featuring the logo centered at the top of the image with “DOOM” in a faded metallic green hue with a weathered white stone outline and underneath “The Dark Ages” in a rustic gold. The art is striking and done in a lush painterly style and favors a selective color palette favoring red, yellow, and orange. It’s showcasing a great battlefield with the DOOM Slayer in his iron cladded forest green armor and giant brown fur cape rustling behind him. He’s in an action forward position, holding his Super Shotgun behind him and lunging forward with his serrated Shield Saw about to tear into a group of gathering demons in the foreground. The background features a horde of unique demons of all shapes and sizes, including a massive Titan demon having a showdown with an equally large Atlan mech. The Slayer’s Dragon is also featured in the background having a showdown with a large set of demons. And there’s a medieval castle barely visible.
