Crypto Unicorns’ journey in Web3 is a tale of tenacity and vision. @abearschmitt sheds light on key Web3 Gaming nuances. 🗯️
“When you have players that churn from your economy in traditional Free to Play, you've lost the opportunity to further monetize those players… In a game with real assets on-chain, players truly exiting the economy can lead to a downward spiral, so there's this extra consequence that we have to shoulder in this space.” stresses Aron.
Listen in as @abearschmitt shares more learnings from launching @crypto_unicorns. 👇

At @crypto_unicorns a chill clan like @THUD_Community can work. Sure, we won't be first, but we won't be last... as seen by our Position 9 we got in Season 1. Chill can work... Officially entered into Season 2 as THUD.
LFG!! For Season 2.... #Web3Gaming #web3community

really like this new look for farms.
I was also expecting no UI changes on the gathering cart & Seein this is actually good. they put an indicator to know how many % is your chance in a shadowcorn attack. this helps A LOT. great job for CU on this front!

🎮 What Fully On-Chain Games Mean for Gamers & Developers
@amittm, co-creator of Farmville, has set his sights on building true fully on-chain “forever games” and the technical tools to power them.
His company, @ProofOfPlay, recently announced a $33 million seed round led by @a16z, as well as the Free-to-Play release of its first game, Pirate Nation, a fully on-chain pirate-themed RPG.
Amitt joins your host, @nikothefinn, to talk about:
🔹how the blockchain allows digital art to last forever
🔹why we should care about fully on-chain games
🔹why he chose Ethereum + Arbitrum Nova as his tech stack
🔹 how much harder it is to build games without centralized servers
Enjoy!
