🧵100% Even most Catholics have no clue how fanatically devoted Joan of Arc was to God. She attended confession dozens of times a day. She wept in agony over the corpses of the English who hadn’t died in grace. She left her home without a word to anyone to follow God’s will. She

The Avignon papacy, which everyone agrees was an unmitigated disaster for the Church, lasted for seventy years and subsequently triggered a schism that lasted for forty years. Did the saints who lived during the Avignon papacy remain passive and resigned to the crisis out of a spirit of obedience to the Holy See? No. St Catherine of Siena pleaded with the popes to leave Avignon and derided those responsible for the pope's remaining in France as “incarnate demons." And she did so not out of rebelliousness but sincere devotion and faithfulness to the papacy and to the pope. We must do the same during the present crisis. To remain passive and to allow the Church and the papacy to be wounded by the crisis would be the very opposite of faithfulness.

LATEST: As the Vatican Secretariat of State did not specify in their Sept. 30 letter what precise request was being denied, some have asked what pilgrimage organizers had requested in their letter of Sept. 8.
I had included the content of their request in my article earlier today, but have now further specified it, writing:
In his letter of 8 September, Abbé Barthe had acknowledged the Secretariat of State’s refusal to authorize a Mass in the usus antiquior, the older form of the Roman Rite, in St. Peter’s Basilica this year. He then asked:
“May we nevertheless, this coming 24 October, enter the Basilica in procession, pray for the Pope at the Confession, and adore the Blessed Sacrament at the Altar of the Chair? The Basilica’s sacristy indicates to us that this would be possible at 1 p.m., should you grant us permission.”

Love how these people do the "Dare we Hope hell is empty 🥺" crap and then suddenly when it's the SSPX it'd like yeah they are all burning, and it's awesome 😎
They always make up new sins like “bitter zeal” to keep traditional Catholics from fighting.
We aren’t scared of your fake sins. And we’ll keep fighting. Just because you threw in the towel doesn’t mean we will.

Magnificent scenes in Charlotte as the local SSPX community celebrates the inaugural Mass at their new location.
On July 8, we bought land in Iron Station, North Carolina.
On Sunday, we took possession of it.
We sanctified it with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, entrusting it to Our Lady — Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces.
Help us build the new Saint Anthony’s - a home for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for generations to come.
Please pray for this work, share our story, and consider making a gift:
