The crypto industry has spent over a decade building the future using language that actively chokes its own adoption. Terms like “blockchain,” “Web3,” “DeFi,” and “onchain” became useful shorthand inside a tech native bubble, but they have utterly failed to resonate with the broader financial ecosystem. Advisers, enterprises, regulators, and mainstream investors don’t make capital allocations based on infrastructure terminology; they make them based on trust, familiarity, and cultural legitimacy.
Hey @Airbnb now can you announce a rule so that the host can’t cancel on you hours before you’re supposed to check-in?
Maxey could probably break 11 seconds in the 100 meters @SJD10304.

MAYBE I WAS WRONG ABOUT BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
I wrote about how I always used to make fun of the guys who said things like "Bitcoin is speculative, but the underlying blockchain technology is interesting." And now I think maybe they kinda had a point.

Sauna is my number one longevity intervention after exercise and diet.
A lot of what happens in the sauna overlaps with what happens during exercise, and sauna can even add to the benefits you’re already getting from exercise, including bigger gains in aerobic fitness and reductions in blood pressure.
Then there’s the long-term data - using the sauna 4 to 7 times weekly is associated with a 40% lower risk of all-cause mortality, a 50% lower risk of cardiovascular-related death, and up to a 66% lower risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
Combined evidence from the physiology, exercise trials, and long-term data is a big part of why I take deliberate heat exposure seriously (and why you should too).
The politicians calling for higher taxes almost always have donated $$$ to private charities and their foundations over the years (very generous!)
They could choose to donate to public charities instead (federal and state government) but don't?
Why not?
Because Americans understand where money is well spent.
Donations to the government, cumulative since 1843, about $70 million.
Donations to private charities about $10 trillion.
The media doesn't want you to know this, but if you're a guilt-ridden rich guy who thinks the rich should pay more in taxes...you can just send all your money to the government!
Yes, really.
The Bureau of Fiscal Service has a voluntary account since 1843, and you can hand over all your earthly belongings to Uncle Sam if you feel they can do more with your money than you can.
Think we should all pay more taxes? Then you get to go first.
(Scott Kirby is worth ~$100M).

More of this, please.
Davante Adams reveals he has made $200,000,000 in his career while saving almost everything and spending only 1% of his NFL earnings
"I made $200 million, now."
"If I go like get myself a new watch or something like that, like I still cringe doing that."
"This, uh, chocolate Patek Philippe Aquanaut. But if, but if I wanted to go sell this right now, I'm, I'm making money right now.
Taylor Lewan: “That's an investment on your wrist."
Adams: "I've spent maybe 1% of the money that I've made in the league, like I've spent it. I've saved everything."
“Until big fintech becomes part of the solution, it will most likely remain part of the problem.”

Good article in @FT. It is time to invest in financial literacy (a lot of tech but too little fin in fintech).
And great to see the citation of our P-Fin Index

I truly feel sorry for anyone who doesn't watch college football.
Today has already been an all-timer.
This reeks of legacy TradFi shenanigans. Accounts being replaced by wallet infra will eventually fix this.
Copy your wallet address from Alto and paste it at Public and all account history transfers over for $0.
I almost never criticize a startup publicly.
@public charged me $890.46 in crypto IRA custody fees since May. A fee deduction created a negative balance and a daily “margin call” warning of liquidation.
@FINRA should review how these fees were disclosed during migration from Alto and why they trigger liquidation warnings.
