If you post about reading banned books but none of the books you read appear on the Catholic Church's Index of Forbidden Books, then you're doing a bad job.

I've found a great use for AI in converting my handwritten astronomy notes into PowerPoint slides w/diagrams. The AI generally does a good job making the drawings, although I've had to give it a lot of feedback and make design rules. Saves me hours and hours of time each lesson.

P.S. @WKCosmo, thanks for mentioning your success in doing this with conversion to LaTeX with TikZ figures. I figured that meant it was worth trying in PowerPoint.

For Hungary, I'm not sure whether to go with: a) "It's people! Drunkard's soup is people!" or b) * "On the bright side, Hungary has eliminated alcoholism." —"You mean they've cured them, right?" * <stares> —"Right?!?"

My wife works on colliding black holes and neutron stars, but I’ll have to admit that I hadn’t considered that the cores of merging red giants would also do a high-density inspiral. I wonder if LIGO is sensitive enough to the expected signal.
When the dense helium cores of two red giants collide, the merger could produce high-energy neutrinos, finds a study in Physical Review D. IceCube could expect about one such neutrino from a single merger up to 180,000 light years away. Read the study: go.aps.org/3TQNKXM

I just stumbled across a reference to a British terrorist group called the Angry Brigade, and I keep picturing them as a Monty Python skit.
