Some people never learn from history.
Two leftist Marxist students celebrating the Islamic Revolution in Tehran, 1979. Sahar Mohammadi (left) and Maryam Rafiei (right). Maryam Rafiei was later executed by the same regime in the 1988 prison massacres, along with thousands of other leftist political activists. The revolution ate its own. They hated the Shah of Iran so much that they cheered Khomeini’s arrival, convinced the revolution would bring freedom and modernity. Reminds you of anything today?

Don't despair at the results last night... There are both political and spiritual reasons why things happened the way they did yesterday, and @TSXpress and I will break them down live on Thursday on @freethinkmin at 1 pm youtube.com/live/nreCWV_Hpc0…

Yeah, this is still the biggest issue in politics, despite the fact that people care more about gas prices.
A bunch of liberal Talarico supporters celebrate his win in Texas by saying “Child murder is so back!” Abortion is by far the biggest atrocity in America’s history. It’s exponentially worse than slavery.

“Every high civilization decays by forgetting obvious things.” (Chesterton) Such as: - God is our Father, non non-binary. - It's an abomination to allow men to go into girls' bathrooms. - Saying "biological" before someone's sex is stupid, redundant, and part of the problem. - Sticking scissors into a womb to dismember a baby is an unconscionable evil. - Politicians who passionately support the right to the above practice great wickednesss, and no consistent Christian can support them. - Socialism is societal suicide. Every time. - It really is Christ or chaos. - The reason the US Navy was formed was to combat Mohammedan pirates who were seizing our ships, and choking our economy. They did so explicitly under orders of the Quran and said they'd continue to, until all were converted or enslaved. Ergo, supporting them to lead our country is silly. The above list is from Pastor @BrooksPotteiger. Here’s some more off the top of my head: - Parents, not the state, hold primary authority over the medical and educational decisions made for their minor children. Overriding that authority to facilitate sterilization or cross-sex hormones is an attack on the family, and mutilation of the child. It is not care for the child. - Sex is binary and immutable in human beings. Policies that treat it as a self-declared feeling erase the basis for women’s privacy, safety, and fair competition. Such policies are literally against women’s rights. - A nation that cannot or will not control its borders ceases to be a nation in any meaningful sense. Charity toward outsiders does not require the suicide of the political community that makes charity possible in the first place. - The deliberate targeting of civilians, the taking of hostages, and the use of human shields are war crimes. - Truth-telling about crime statistics, academic performance, and group outcomes is not bigotry. Suppressing the data to protect a narrative harms the very people the narrative claims to help. - Religious liberty includes the right of individuals and institutions to order their lives according to biblical sexual ethics without state penalty. Compelling speech or action against those ethics is coercion, not tolerance. WAKE UP, Americans!

Here’s a logically deductive argument about Christ followers and voting.

Biden was the most incompetent president ever; Obama was the most destructive and evil president ever. He was nice and well-spoken though! 😂

The people on that bus are your neighbors. Choosing not to vote—or voting for someone who can’t win—doesn’t keep your hands clean. It just hands the keys to the evil people driving toward the cliff. Love your neighbor enough to vote effectively. Stay reasonable (Isaiah 1:18).

The genocide lie is evil. It is propaganda designed to rally support for terrorists, and to justify future terror attacks against Jews on the false basis of their being genocidal. Ben masterfully dismantles this vicious lie from hell.

There is no genocide in Gaza. The people are not the target. Hamas is the target. There would be no destruction in Gaza if not for October 7, and there would be far fewer casualties if Hamas terrorists fought like men, instead of starting a war by gunning down civilians and then hiding behind their own like cowards. And it would have ended a long time ago had they cared about the cost of their refusal to release the hostages and surrender. But they don't care. They care far less about their own children than Israel does, which is why they have children carry their weapons through the streets, knowing Israel will abort their strikes when children are in view.

The pro-life premise is simple: it is wrong to intentionally end an innocent human life. The death penalty, self-defense, and just warfare do not target innocent life. In fact, they're necessary to protect it. So there's no contradiction unless the pro-life position is twisted into something like “killing is wrong, period, regardless of the circumstances.” But that's not the premise of the pro-life argument, and it's not a position anyone who actually cares about defending innocent life from violent threats would ever hold.
Pope Leo XIV: “Someone who says, ‘I’m against abortion,’ but says, ‘I’m in favor of the death penalty,’ is not really pro-life.”

25 years ago today foreign terrorists attacked America. Today domestic terrorists attack our nation (they are called Democrats)! Both terrorist movements have the same goal.

Okay, I’ve been keeping something relatively quiet for a while… I started a new rock band. Actually, there’s a little history here. Jett Crow includes three members of After the Order, my old rock band from around 20 years ago, along with two other great friends and musicians. Luke Mills — vocals James Royle — lead guitar (the kid in the band) Shane Moore — drums Jake Sullivan (my cousin) — guitar, keys & BGVs Me — holding down the low end on my four-string bass 🤘 Together, we are JETT CROW. And today I finally get to tell you that our first single, “Welcome to Yesterday,” is OUT NOW! It’s available pretty much everywhere you listen to music—from Spotify to iTunes and beyond. My favorite line in the song says: “Until we stop repeating history, welcome to yesterday.” There’s a reason that line hits me. We’ve all heard some version of the warning that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Yet we have an incredible capacity to convince ourselves that this time is different—right before making the same mistakes all over again. Consider this song a wake-up call. Some people have already asked us, “So, are you guys a Christian band?” We’ll let other people worry about labels. Here’s what I can tell you: we’re five musicians who take philosophy and theology seriously. We believe there are objective truths about reality that actually matter. We believe we’ve discovered some of the greatest truths a human being can know—and we love people enough to want them to discover those truths too. We also want to bring awesome ROCK MUSIC back from the dead. Welcome to JETT CROW— Where philosophy and rock music collide. 🐦‍⬛🎸 Our first single, “Welcome to Yesterday,” is out NOW. And we’re just getting started. More music coming soon.

President Trump just said: “Every public school in America is now on notice that if they tell a child that they’re trapped in the wrong body, they are committing CHILD ABUSE.” Some of you know how personal this issue is for me. I was willing to lose my church over my conviction that Christians have a responsibility to protect children from this ideology (among other evils advanced by the Left). So yes, I’m extremely thankful to hear these words coming from the President of the United States. And this is precisely why elections matter. Christians who refused to vote for Trump—or went further and voted for Harris—used their political power in a way that would have prevented the administration now taking these actions. Trump obviously has flaws. I’ve criticized him myself. But as a former president famously warned, we should never allow the perfect to become the enemy of the good. Voting is not an endorsement of everything a candidate has ever said or done. Sometimes it is simply a choice between two available alternatives and a question of which one will better protect our neighbors—especially those who cannot protect themselves. In 2024, one foreseeable consequence of a Trump victory was an administration willing to push back against telling confused and vulnerable children that they were “born in the wrong body.” That should have mattered to those who follow Christ. That mattered to me. It still does. So, to the Christians who used the political power entrusted to you to oppose the greater evil and protect vulnerable children: THANK YOU! And to those who had that same power but refused to use it—or used it to help the alternative: YOU’RE WELCOME.
