maybe there’s a legit reason (if so the fans deserve to hear it), but i am disappointed that the mlb commissioner didn’t attend to say a few words at the final game for first-ballot player HOFer miguel cabrera AND first-ballot manager HOFer tito francona. THE SAME GAME. #MLB
my heart breaks for jets’ fans. what a gut punch. as a cleveland fan i thought stuff like this only happened to the teams i root for…
congratulations, manny! it’s a great day to be a bomber! @IthacaCollege @ICParkSchool
i kinda feel bad for tim anderson. this is his legacy now. heck, we still talk about ventura getting clocked by nolan ryan and that was 30 years ago. this one incident will define his career and that’s unfortunate. jose? he’s gonna be a demigod.
mlb just told every team that “the smart play is to push an otherwise safe runner off the base because if the field ump doesn’t call a push, the runner will always be called out, even if there’s clear evidence that’s the wrong call. go ahead teams, start pushing!”
Terry Francona has been ejected in the 4th inning after disputing an overturned call at second base.

i can’t imagine how low the morale is for the @CleGuardians: jose’s bff was traded; the team’s #1 SP was traded; josh bell, adored by all, was traded; and despite being in prime position to win the division, the front office did nothing to improve the team. the FO has given up.
