If you are still teaching “I do, we do, you do” you are successfully teaching mimicry in the math classroom, nothing more. We know better. We need to do better.#mtbos #elemmathchat

A little bit of fun and a little bit of work. @eledesu @TTC_ESU students enjoying a bit of Hocus Pocus and snacks while also getting some of their homework done. No homework was required! They are just great at multitasking and taking care of business.

Loved the sounds during this rich mathematical task. There was the buzz of conversation, and occasional grumble as our future teachers had to persevere, and the ahhs when they recognized something they hadn’t seen before.

Elementary mathematics interns from @TTC_ESU @eledesu playing @lead4ward Vocabulary Pyramid to review the Standards for Mathematical Practice.

Teachers, it’s okay to have a lesson plan fall apart sometimes. Tacos fall apart and we still love them! 🌮 #EdChat #EduTwitter

@TTC_ESU Future teachers had so much fun meeting new people and eating pizza even if they weren’t using their walking feet during the scavenger hunt! #TTCscavengerhunt @GerlemanMelissa

It was amazing to see so many future teachers in one room!!! The @knea_esu officers worked so hard to make this happen. Special thank you to Anna Bradley with @KNEA_AE and Student President Brox Bogner for answering all our questions. @TTC_ESU @SecondaryEd_ESU @eledesu
