A technical breakdown of how we built Tabbit CLI. Agents work in the browser you already use, with task-level isolation, a browser-managed runtime, and plain Playwright code. In paired runs vs. Codex's Chrome integration: similar accuracy, 47.2% fewer input tokens.
Wrote an article about how we built browser automation at Tabbit. In our eval against Codex's Chrome integration, accuracy was similar. Tabbit CLI used 47.2% fewer input tokens and made 16.8% fewer tool calls. Full write-up below.

Tabbit Model Chart Vol. 9 Gemini 4 Argon climbs 4 spots to #2. Reviewers call it strong on knowledge work, but slower and pricier than rivals. Our users seem to care more about the first part. Sonnet 5.5 holds #1.

First of all, RIP Arc. Secondly, just used Tabbit CLI to scan 400 replies to Arc's sunset post. Here are the features people want to keep. Which would you miss most and what would you like Tabbit to build next?
🤖 Made with AI
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

Markdown is becoming the default file format for humans and agents working together in the AI era. Tabbit gives you browser automation and Markdown preview in one place, and right now it's the best combination.
折腾了大半天markdown软件最后发现,居然最适合自己的是一款浏览器,而且让 Claude 配合浏览器的技能做视频的上传发布和抓数据,特别省token,而且效率很高,感谢美团出品。 Tabbit - The browser for the AI era @TabbitBrowser 已经成为的默认浏览器了,Chrome都很少打开

Claude Haiku 5.5 is now available in Tabbit. It’s Anthropic’s fastest model yet, which makes it a good fit for the little questions that come up while browsing: what a paragraph means, which details matter, or how to phrase a reply. Pick Haiku-5.5 from the model menu and ask about the page you’re on.

We gave Claude Sonnet 5.5 its own developer guide and asked it to turn the article into an interactive model picker and migration checklist inside Tabbit. Finished in under 30 seconds, using just 0.38% of the available token budget. Claude Sonnet 5.5 is now live in Tabbit.

uBlock Origin has long been considered the gold standard for blocking ads and trackers. But on Chrome, the original version has become increasingly difficult to use. Tabbit now includes the original uBlock Origin, built directly into the browser. It’s off by default. To turn it on, go to: Settings → Extensions → My Extensions → Built-in Extensions
