#FPL Aside the Liverpool win over Brighton is huge for the title race, sending Arsenal 5 points clear at the top. Absolutely massive game this weekend between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield, 1st vs 3rd 🔥 Newcastle up to 7th, are they back or do we still not trust them?

Play your own game. Pick the players you think are gonna score the best based on fixtures, not ownership %. Cherki is a scary one. Hopefully Foden subbed on before 60 mins. Rogers a worry this week as well, but the rest I’m comfortable backing against! Especially Groß. #FPL

Only if you’re a manager who goes with the crowd! Very happy going against Groß this week. I’ve got 5/11 genuine differentials 🎲 Mbeumo at just 27.5% owned near me as well. Calafiori is a sleeper and Joao Pedro will hurt my rank slightly but Haaland captain will help. #FPL

So for most people, GW8 is a chance to cheer on just 4 players. The EO of popular players means that 7 of your XI basically count for nothing.

Gvardiol 😍 I feel like buying another City attacker is worth it, kinda wish I bought Doku instead of Mbeumo. Free hitting in GW12 takes out the Arsenal fixture making Doku very attractive for this run, and I think he’s an absolute baller. Not sure how I’ll bring him in 🤔

Just received this on the City lineup. The usual massive caveats apply because we're an entire day out and the last time this happened we saw lineups 'changed'.

#FPL GW8 ready! OR: 287k 🌏 De Cuyper benched. Cant see a clean sheet for the Seagulls and just the 0.13xGI for him in a 5-0 win last week Backing the cheats to win & Villa not great defensively, so: Gvardiol ✅ Haaland 🧢 Could change after press conference. Good luck all!

GW8 is the hardest captaincy decision for the whole FPL season! Haaland is a 🤖 but the record against Villa is poor, toughest fixture out of the premiums. Joao Pedro has a brilliant home record this season. Palmer on pens and has 5 returns in 5 games vs Spurs (3 pens). 🤔🤔

Nah I’m sorry but there is going to be a lot of panic about Brighton players soon. 💀😭 Pascal Groß & Maxim De Cuyper are both owned by ~40% of FPL managers, but I wouldn’t be buying them this week unless on Free Hit. These numbers are very alarming about Groß, read on. 🧵⬇️

There is so much luck in FPL. GW6: Isak and Havertz “injured” so Isak to Gyokeres felt like a great punt. Konsa also injured and needed to free up Arsenal spot so did Konsa to Gvardiol. Gvardiol & Gyokeres benched 2/2 games since. Konsa two clean sheets & Isak goal. 😂😂💀

Went Ode and Isak on wildcard, then had to reverse it to Saka and Gonzalo after Isak got injured, who then both blanked for 2 weeks in a row whilst Isak made a miraculous recovery and scored, and now have 1FT so would need a hit to reverse it again. Good process.

Hearing Nico O’Reilly missed the Athens game due to an ongoing back injury. It flared up vs Ipswich and subsequently subbed at 61mins, after an average performance. My confidence in Gvardiol as an FPL pick is coming back. He is first choice and PL the priority. Thoughts?

It’s 2026 and people still don’t understand xG or xGC 🤦‍♂️ Saying “play FPL with your eyes” after referring to the table is quite funny 😂 How can people not realise than xG & xGC paints MORE of a picture than just looking at the result or the table?
