The British Museum has removed the word “Palestine” from its Ancient Middle East displays — despite the term appearing in Herodotus, Roman records, medieval maps, Ottoman sources, and even Shakespeare. Erasing a word erases a people. I’ve written about why this matters, and what we can do next. 👇 open.substack.com/pub/1taghr… #HistoryIncludesPalestine @21WIRE @AsaWinstanley @s_m_marandi @alon_mizrahi @FranceskAlbs @guychristensen_

A group of colonisers and Palestinian collaborators are coming to London from occupied Palestine, presenting themselves as "Arabs and Jews". Even this terminology deserves scrutiny. Arab and Jewish are not equivalent categories. Arab is primarily an ethnic, cultural and linguistic identity, whereas Jewish identity is an ethno-religious identity. They are not coming to advocate for the liberation of Palestine. They proposed keep the so-called -israel, including the IOF. In other words, Jewish supremacy continues, under a different name and with a different political face. They want to reduce Palestine to Gaza and the West Bank, while expecting Palestinians to forget the Nakba, forgive the perpetrators. #FreePalestine

I refuse to recognise the so-called israel. I stand by the recognition of a nation that represents the worst humanity has produced. A nation of vile practices, which I call the Epstein Nation. And this does not include only Jewish extremists, but anyone, from any religion, who is part of it.

Epstein's terrorists are seizing yet another Palestinian home. They steal, kill and rape. This is a reality I have grown accustomed to witnessing, and I continue to do everything I can to resist it and stop it. What I cannot comprehend, however, is how some Palestinians can collaborate with these people, contributing to the continued theft of their people's land, their killing and their displacement.

The thing is, we Palestinians don't dispute this. My ancestors were probably Jewish. At some point we converted to Islam, some converted to Christianity, we started speaking Arabic, but we are of the land. European settler thieves and murderers are not indigenous to Palestine. Leave.
Stop saying Israel was promised to us 3000 years ago. This is the Kurkh Monolith. It was discovered in Kurdistan in 1861 by British archaeologist John George Taylor and stands today in the British Museum in London 🇬🇧 It is 2900 years old and has Assyrian king Shalmaneser III speak about his battle against Ahab the king of ISRAEL in the Battle of Qarqar. "2,000 chariots, 10,000 soldiers of Ahab the Israelite" By then, The kingdom of Israel had been in place for HUNDREDS of years already. Jews are indigenous to the land of Israel.

For years, I have been a Palestinian activist, and one of the central aims of my activism has been to defend the rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, raise awareness of their suffering, and expose the decades of marginalisation and neglect they continue to endure. Now, after 78 years of displacement, suddenly institutions and organisations are drawing up plans and making decisions about the future of our refugee camps. We are expected to listen and accept them as though we have no say! For how much longer will Palestinian refugees be the last to hear about decisions concerning their own lives and future? We have never been allowed to elect representatives in our camps, nor have we elected the Palestinian Authority to speak on our behalf. Who authorised these individuals and institutions to represent us? Who chose them? And who holds them accountable? And look who is speaking on behalf of this initiative: Yasser Abbas, Mahmoud Abbas's son. Who gave him the authority to represent Palestinian refugees and have a say in the future of their camps? We do not belong to political parties, factions or families. Our camps are not political estates. We demand our rights, dignity and security, but we also demand representation, participation and accountability. Enough of decisions being made about us without us. We are refugees, not subjects to be governed without a voice. 🇵🇸

Once, a Russian Jew asked me, "Do you really think poor Europeans, after being promised free land, would leave it behind, especially considering how badly they were treated throughout their history in Europe?" I replied, "I know some who did leave it, and they're fighting alongside me for the liberation of Palestine." A big shout-out to everyone who stands with me. Thank you.

Look at this little Palestinian girl, one of thousands of child victims, and see her injury; no child should ever have to go through this.

This is not about God or a promised land. It is a coloniser doing business, using religion to justify stealing, raping, displacing, and murdering Palestinians.

A serious question: even if we accept the Promised-land theory, how does God guide humans to gather a promised land? What’s the mechanism which suits a holy order? Or in simple words if Moses was alive today, would he opt a genocidal pathway or something humane? 🧐

This is how I grew up, bare floors, bare rooms... During the wars and invasions, we ran from house to house, to bushes, even to basements in hospitals, and even these were bombed. The fact I am talking now is pure luck. Yet somehow my legitimacy to comment on Lebanon is questioned and ignored. Misogyny and favouritism is rife and legitimate voices are silenced. Somehow I am not Palestinian enough for some people, white saviours especially.

The official death toll in Gaza—74,618—is a vast undercount. This number only counts people who have been directly killed through violent means, like bullets and bombs, and whose bodies were recovered. It does not count people who have been killed as a result of Israel's other genocidal policies, such as their blockades on food & medicine, destruction of hospitals, and demolition of water & sewage infrastructure. In reality, the death toll in Gaza is in the hundreds of thousands. One of these uncounted deaths caused directly by Israel's policies is Mohammad @AboJamil97's first son, Jamil, a baby boy who was born and died in 2024 in Gaza. Recently, they welcomed another son into their family, named after their first son. Here is his story. "Before the war, my wife was five months pregnant. When the war began, we were displaced to central Gaza. During that period, we were forced to flee more than once—around six times. When the time came for her to give birth, there were very few hospitals available. They did not have adequate care or proper facilities, and there was a severe lack of medical equipment. Many of them had been badly damaged. On the same bed where my wife was giving birth to our baby, two other women were also giving birth. My son was born safely and appeared to be well. But after two hours, his body began to grow very cold. There wasn't even any infant formula available in the markets. It was completely unavailable. All of this was happening during a great famine. After he began to grow cold, they took him to the intensive care unit to care for him. But the electricity was unreliable, and they were unable to determine what he was suffering from. A few hours later, my son passed away, without us ever knowing the reason why." teapaw.org/AboJamil97/status/2115…
Finally... After all this exhaustion, pain, and endless suffering, in the midst of the ongoing war and genocide. God has blessed me today with the greatest gift of all. ❤️ I have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy, who carries the name of his brother, whom we lost three years ago. A light that has illuminated the darkness, a message of life from God in the midst of death. Words cannot describe the joy filling my heart. All praise be to God for this precious blessing and His endless mercy, even in the hardest of times. From the depths of my heart, I thank everyone who stood by my side and cared for me and my family. Your presence was a lifeline for us during our darkest days. You helped save my wife and our newborn son, and I will never forget your kindness and love. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who shared our pain... and now shares our joy. ❤️ @ireallyhateyou @krause53391
