On World News Day, this print ad feels just as relevant as the day it was released.
Interestingly, this ad wasn't created for World News Day.
It was released by The Hindu to mark its 146th anniversary, featuring a clever ambigram where "Journalism" transformed into "Democracy" when flipped upside down.
Because journalism and democracy don't just coexist; they strengthen, protect, and uphold each other.
Yet years later, the message feels perfectly suited for today.
