A radio-collared four-year-old tigress was allegedly killed by poachers by poisoning, and the feline’s body was recovered from a pit in the Satpura Tiger Reserve (STR) of Madhya Pradesh. The incident came to light a day ago. Following that, wildlife activists raised serious concerns and levelled allegations against the state forest department officials.

Erfan Soltani is scheduled to be executed by hanging in Iran in 48 hours.
He was arrested in Karaj on January 9 for taking part in the protests. His family was given just 10 minutes to say goodbye. No lawyer. No fair trial. Days later, the Islamic regime sentenced him to death.
Reports now warn the regime is preparing public hangings to terrorize the population. More than 10,000 protesters have been arrested since the start of the 2026 uprising. Many could face the same fate.
The only thing this regime fears is global scrutiny.
Be their voice. Share their names. Expose these crimes. Silence is a death sentence.

Elusive. Ethereal. Endangered.
With barely 10,000 left in the wild and scattered sightings in NE India, the Clouded Leopard is our most secretive big cat.
Here, a rare glimpse ~ a mother with her cubs, guardians of an ancient rainforest. A sight so rare that it’s mythical.

India is still far from being a pet-friendly country. Most people are hesitant to adopt Indie stray dogs, yet they continue to leave voiceless strays on the streets to suffer. Instead of offering these dogs a chance at a better life, they are left to fend for themselves.

Take a cue @airindia . Sometimes you all put pet parents through a lot of inconvenience. Our babies are better behaved than most of some human passengers you get on board .
Coming from a legacy of #tata and the love that #RatanTata had to dogs and animals , so disappointed to learn that @airindia is becoming less pet friendly . Besides hiking up the prices of the pets that you carry , you cannot even travel with your in cabin pet in business class . A real let down for all those who travel
With their pets , who are better behaved than most humans . Again .
