Talking Targon, Ep. 01 is now live.
Bittensor co-founder Jacob Steeves aka @const_reborn joins us to break down eTAO, the upgrade that lets subnet owners decide how their emissions are split.
We get into subnet economics, the guardrails against exploits, and what it unlocks for compute on Targon.

With eTAO on the horizon, it's finally time.
Talking Targon 001 with @const_reborn drops tomorrow.

Had an awesome time last week representing @TargonCompute in Montreal for @ExploitSummit!
I always leave any conference with Bittensor folks feeling even more bullish, the energy that this community has is contagious.
Great seeing old friends and making some new ones, future is bright!

Last week in Montreal, we sat down with a few of our fellow builders working to push the boundaries of permissionless intelligence on Bittensor.
Innovation is happening rapidly, and we're proud to be shipping alongside such a talented group of passionate leaders.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, we look forward to continue accelerating the growth and capabilities of decentralized AI.

Through our distributed compute market, we have just onboarded 10x B300 nodes
We are making them available on demand to help give smaller teams access to the latest hardware without having to sign a multi-year contract
You can rent as little as 1x node! Link to rent is below
Very excited to have our Sandboxes live on Targon. Been working hard with the team to make our Sandboxes seamless and usable for a variety of different use cases.
Let us know what you think!
We're excited to share that Bare Metal and Sandboxes are now live on Targon.com
Bare Metal
→ An entire physical machine dedicated to your organization
→ No hypervisor, no container runtime, no noisy neighbors
→ Full control of kernel, drivers and firmware-level GPU settings
→ Every operator is KYC-verified, keeping workloads secure without TVM
Sandboxes
→ Short-lived, isolated Linux environments for development, testing, previews and agents
→ Provisioning to running within seconds
→ Browser terminal, graphical Linux desktop or SSH
→ Fork independent copies for parallel experiments and agent tasks
→ Publish a template from any setup worth repeating
→ Pause when idle to stop active compute billing, resume anytime
The Targon team has been focused on expanding features and enhancing the Targon experience, and will continue rolling out new releases.

Immaculate vibes at the @TargonCompute Dinner tonight.
Honestly… the more contributors to $TAO I speak with the more bullish I become.
Pumped to push @zipcodenetwork GPU loans for Targon Tower buyers ⚡️
Upwards.

Our validator for SN111 is running on hardware provided by @TargonCompute.
We're super grateful for the fast, reliable setup and the team's amazing support.
Thank you, guys!

The Manifold team has had our heads down building, and we are excited to be making an apperance at @ExploitSummit very soon!
We are looking forward to connecting with the community in Canada, and sharing the latest innovations in open stack inference and permissionless compute.
Hope to see you all September 28-29th in Montreal 🍁
Decentralization doesn't remove trust. It relocates it.
@manifoldlabs took that head-on. @TargonCompute turned untrusted GPUs into confidential compute you can actually verify - and put the architecture in a paper co-authored with @intel.
Enterprise-grade privacy, running permissionlessly on #Bittensor. This is the work Exploit exists to platform.
They're one of our platinum sponsors. The team making the case that decentralized compute is ready for the enterprise - at the event where that case gets tested: luma.com/exploitsummit26

just heads down building!
We released organizations and teams feature last week, and we are pushing to prod contracts and reservations today.
managed kubernetes clusters coming in a few weeks for contracted customers.
CPU and GPU Sandboxes (Real VMs not microVMs with containers inside!) soon™️
Revenue also growing at 3.5x month on month. I think we keep that growth up as well for at least the next few months.
New products and features for targon launching at exploit conference as well. Get your tickets now!!
There was sooo much static these past few weeks on twitter with these subnet dramas, I would prefer to avoid them at all costs and continue maximizing customer experience!
I also changed my twitter account so give me a follow.

Bittensor is one of the only ecosystems left that is still making meaningful progress, continuing to create value, and hasn't seen everyone leave to chase AI (maybe bc the ppl here are still working on AI)

I cannot overstate how excited I am to share this with the world. 16B trained over the internet by 4090/5090s with help from @green_compute_ and @TargonCompute. MFUs upwards of 40%, with compute all the way from the USA to Hong Kong. @IOTA_SN9

Enabling sovereignty in your training stack hits different when the majority of compute is still owned by three companies.
If only there was a permissionless network where anyone could rent GPUs to participate in shared ownership and training open models 👀
@targoncompute
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
