lol. This is why I never do interviews because clips are always taken outa context. First of all my career has been amazing and I’m not unhappy about anything. This was a light hearted conversation before a Nebraska game in my suite box about how “BACK IN THE DAY” some corporations wouldn’t hire some people they deemed “controversial” or “offensive” but yet they would hire other people that were controversial and offensive. That was it. That was the conversation Then here comes the news doing what they do best.. getting clicks by taking the 2 hour podcast outa context. Also, use a better pic than this one. Im much hotter now. lol
Larry the Cable Guy is calling out what he sees as a double standard in corporate America, questioning why some entertainers land major advertising deals while others are considered too controversial.
The comedian says DirecTV missed an obvious opportunity to feature him in a commercial, suggesting his Southern accent and edgy humor may have made companies hesitant.
But he points to rappers landing major endorsements, including Snoop Dogg, and questions why the same standards don't seem to apply.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Larry the Cable Guy clarified his MeatEater Podcast comments were light-hearted remarks about past ("back in the day") corporate practices in a casual 2-hour conversation, not current grievances, and that his career has been successful with no unhappiness.

If I ever made a Deadpool fan film, this would be the plot. It would be an adaptation of this issue, it’s my favorite Deadpool story.

Maybe they should try a season 2!

All this course correction feels so forced..
Why is his hair short? He doesn't like it being cut. His blonde hair is gone.
Also right back to the infinity war suit. You have a perfect suit in TL&T or make a new one??
I feel like very few of them are making it out of Doomsday/Secret Wars ngl
