The Pakistan–China B2B Investment Conference on Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology & Healthcare concluded successfully yesterday in Islamabad.
After another day of productive engagements, 🇵🇰🇨🇳 enterprises & entrepreneurs signed over 120 MoUs, Joint Ventures and commercial agreements exceeding USD 1.7 billion in value across biotechnology, vaccines, biologics, APIs, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), clinical research, and allied sectors.
This Conference signified a truly collaborative effort conceived and initiated by Pakistan Embassy in China and its four Consulates. Thanks to consistent and strong support from Prime Minister @CMShehbaz, Dy. Prime Minister & Foreign Minister @MIshaqDar50 Minister National Health and Adviser to PM on Industries as well as assistance by Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (MNHSR&C), Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Board of Investment (BOI), SIFC, & active participation by health sector industry representative from both countries, this 6th edition of 🇵🇰🇨🇳 B2B Investment Conference was a great success in its design, planning, organization, execution & outcomes.
The Conference has lent further momentum to growing Pakistan–China business to business collaboration, economic integration, technology exchange, industrial partnerships, and charted new pathways to investment and long-term collaboration between the pharmaceutical industries of both countries.
Follow up work will start soon to accelerate conversion of MoUs to contracts and agreements as well as agreements to factories and plants.

Deeply saddened by the deadly rain-triggered landslide in Pengshui County, Chongqing Municipality of China, which has claimed at least 8 lives and left dozens missing and displacing over a thousand local residents. The loss of precious lives weigh heavily on our hearts.

To mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan🇵🇰 and China🇨🇳, the Government of Pakistan has decided to issue a commemorative coin of Rs.75 denomination. This coin will be available to the general public from May 25, 2026 through counters of #SBP Banking Services Corporation.
