Blackpill is the place to be at the moment! An adult Bonaparte’s gull surprised me while looking through the gull flock and the Baird’s sandpiper and Curlew sandpiper were still present among hundreds of autumn waders #glambirds

A great little fall or migrants over the last few days at Spurn. Pied flycatchers seeking around every corner! Here are two of my favourite shots from today

Classic day at Spurn. Lots of common migrants around including Pied flycatchers, Redstarts, Garden warbler and Wheatears. Amongst them Wryneck and Greenish warbler. However dipped Ortolan bunting and Pallid harrier. Hopefully more to come this week!
What a great morning at Spurn. 21 colour rings on 7 different species from Greenland, Norway, Iceland, Poland and UK. Also some commoner migrants such as Cuckoo and Short-eared owl.
