you know what actually proves a protocol is being used?
tvl can be padded
but real borrowing activity is harder to fake
on defillama, @strato_net currently shows-

- $4.69M in active loans
- $16253 in protocol fees in last 30d

borrowing is already generating real fees
its the signal that people arent just parking assets they are using the credit layer
hard assets + a working credit market is the core loop what strato is shipping
people treat gold and silver as dead stores of value
but @strato_net is building hardifi around the opposite idea-

we all love saying "institutions are coming"
but think about it for a sec
if a company pays its team onchain, anyone can open the explorer and see who got paid how much
if a fund moves money, the whole timeline knows where it went before they're even done
would you run a business like that? i wouldn't
it's kinda strange that we expect funds and companies to come onchain with zero privacy
but then again, @primus_labs is fixing exactly this on bnb chain
the trick is something called fhe
think of it like a sealed envelope. the chain can process what's inside without ever opening it
so the transaction happens and gets recorded, and nobody sees the amount
here's what they've actually shown so far
→ payroll test with allscale
they paid 4 sample employees onchain. salaries stayed hidden the whole time. when they unlocked the data later, every amount matched the payroll file exactly
wallets and txns were still public, so it's not shady. just your salary isn't anyone's business
→ confidential vault (with unitas + united stables)
you turn $U into $eU, which is the encrypted version, then send it or earn yield without anyone tracking your balance

this one uses zktls to prove that prediction market data really came from where it claims

I spent some time on @primus_labs private vaults and it's way easier than it sounds
all you've to do is turn your usdt into eusdt (the private version of your usdt) and put that eusdt in a vault. that's it
here's the simple guide 👇
what you need
> usdt on bnb chain in your wallet
step 1: shield your usdt
→ go to dapp.primuslabs.xyz/shield
→ connect your wallet
→ choose usdt and type how much you want to shield
→ approve the transaction and your usdt gets converted into eusdt
step 2: put eusdt in the vault
→ go to dapp.primuslabs.xyz/vaults
→ find the eusdt vault
→ enter the amount you want to deposit
→ read the terms before accepting, especially the part about unlocking
→ click stake and confirm
your eusdt is now in the vault
2 more things you should know
→ you can send eusdt to another wallet. go to dapp.primuslabs.xyz/send, enter the amount and the evm address, then confirm
→ you can get your usdt back by un shielding your eusdt on the shield page
one important thing
if your eusdt is sitting in the vault, getting out is not always instant. it follows the vault's unlock schedule and batch processing, so check those terms before you commit anything
it sounds technical at first but once you do it one time, it's just shield → stake → unlock when you want out

Transparency is useful, but complete visibility isn't suitable for every financial activity
Imagine a business making payments onchain while exposing its balances and transaction patterns to everyone
That creates a real barrier for sensitive use cases
@primus_labs is an interesting project to study in this context
Its focus on zkTLS and encrypted computation points toward a model where information can be verified and used without making every detail public
There is still a lot to prove through execution, integrations, and real adoption
But the problem itself deserves attention
For onchain finance to serve more users and businesses, privacy needs to become part of the infrastructure
Not every detail needs to be public for a system to remain verifiable
What matters is finding the right balance

Primus has been getting a lot of attention lately, but I think there's another number worth checking: revenue.
According to DefiLlama, here's what happened:
> Sep 2026: $954 in fees
> Oct 2026: $4,134 in fees
> Last 30 days: $4,576 in fees, with $915.51 going to Primus.
That's a 4.3x jump from September. Quite a change after 13 months without monthly fees exceeding $2.1K.
The revenue split is also worth looking at:
> 80% ($3.31K) goes to attestor node operators.
> 20% ($827.14) goes to @primus_labs .
And this 80/20 split isn't just for October. It's been consistent month after month.
But there's something to keep in mind.
The network is still in its staging phase:
> Fees are already settling on Base mainnet.
> Only authorized nodes can currently join.
> No penalty mechanism or active governance yet.
> Staking isn't live. Running a node is expected to require 10,000 PRIM.
So the 80% operator share looks attractive on paper, but it hasn't really been tested in an open market.
I'm curious how this will play out once staking opens.
Will the 80% revenue share be enough to attract more node operators, or does Primus need a much bigger fee pool first?
