We're still hiring a Brand Designer at Yeba! π¨
We're looking for a Brand Designer based in Nigeria to join Yeba remotely.
Here's the thing: we're not necessarily looking for someone to build a brand from scratch. Yeba already has an established brand identity.
We need someone who knows how to take an existing brand and make it come alive consistently and creatively across different touch points.
Think social media creatives, pitch decks, website assets, marketing campaigns, brochures and other branded materials.
Different formats. Different audiences. One unmistakable brand.
You could be exactly who we're looking for if you:
β
Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in brand or graphic design.
β
Are proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
β
Have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to design for both digital and print.
β
Understand typography, colour, composition, layout and visual hierarchy.
β
Can work within existing brand guidelines without sacrificing creativity.
β
Can develop campaign concepts, create reusable templates and maintain organised design assets.
β
Can explain the thinking behind your design decisions, collaborate with a team and deliver quality work on time.
Experience in illustration, art direction or designing for fintech brands would be a welcome advantage.
Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership of their craft, pays attention to the little details and understands that good design isn't just about making things look beautiful. It's about communicating clearly and building trust.
A few important details:
π Location: Nigeria
π» Work arrangement: Fully remote
π° Monthly salary: NGN 300,000β350,000 depending on experience
If this sounds like you, we'd genuinely love to see your work.

And if you know a talented designer in Lagos who fits this description, please tag them or share this opportunity with them.
And Nigeria won't be there (most likely)...

I won't agree with the Haaland own though.
I feel Haaland is the only one better than Ferran off the ball.
Haaland barely gets into an offside position despite his pace

How do you migrate a database with millions of records without taking your application offline or losing data?
This is where database migrations become more than just writing SQL.
Letβs walk through how Iβd approach it in production.
How did we have such equipments stuck for 20 years π«’πΆ.
Wtf
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the release of more than 300 containers of electricity equipment stranded at Nigerian ports, some for up to 20 years, to support efforts to strengthen the countryβs power infrastructure. The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, said the Ministry of Power would work with the Nigerian Ports Authority and Nigeria Customs Service to clear the equipment, assess its condition and deploy serviceable items to relevant projects.
The directive complements plans to expand Nigeriaβs electricity transmission capacity from 5,000MW to 19,000MW within two years through proposed East and West Super Grids. The equipment will be inspected by technical experts, with usable materials deployed to power projects and obsolete items handled appropriately. The government has not disclosed the equipmentβs total value or a timeline for completing the clearance exercise.

hmm, i've used touchscreen laptops before, and i didn't find them particularly ergonomic.
α»mα»... I had two different routines.
Routine 1 was to sleep 12am, wake up 5. Pray fajr then open support tickets to start resolving them from 5am till 7am
Second routine was to stay up till 5am rebuilding services that continuously broke
This was before AI. α»mα»
I mentioned it some months back that Ferran is top 5 in Europe when it comes to strikers off the ball movement.
I still stand by it.
His movements are insane...
The funny part is that he has a talent that even most elite strikers don't have. He has incredible striker instincts. He always seems to know where to be, when to make a run, and how to position himself perfectly.
As a Barça fan, l've noticed that when the game is very tight and everyone is trying to find an opportunity to score, somehow, he always ends up being the one the clearest chances fall to.
But then again how he ends up missing his chances is a misery I canβt phantom. Glad heβs now in France and heβs spoiling their lives over there ππππ
Welcome development, only that many PoS terminals aren't actually used for collecting payments...
