No. 4 CSU Pueblo stayed perfect yesterday (10/24/26) afternoon, holding off a Fort Lewis rally for a 28-21 win in a Homecoming mud bowl at Ray Dennison Memorial Field in Durango. Nyir Jones set the tone on the very first play, taking the opening kickoff 89 yards to the house for his 2nd kickoff return for a TD in as many weeks. The Pack built a 28-7 lead midway through the 3rd quarter, capped by an Evan Powell 57-yard TD run. Then it got interesting. Cooper Payne scooped up a ThunderWolves fumble and took it 23 yards for a TD, and Baylor Seabolt punched it in from the 1 on 4th & goal early in the 4th to cut the lead to 7. On a soggy field after historic rainfall, CSU Pueblo leaned on its ground game, rushing for 277 Yds and outgaining the Skyhawks 367-135. When it mattered most, the Pack's defense came up big, blocking a punt and stuffing Fort Lewis on downs at its own 6 with 1:27 left to seal the victory. Leading CSU Pueblo to the win were: 🏈 Navi Bruzon, 7 Cmps on 10 Atts for 90 Yds & 1 TD; 🏈 Evan Powell, 11 Carries for 139 Yds & 1 TD; 🏈 Moosah Alsaffar, 15 Carries for 75 Yds; 🏈 Russell Patton, 9 Carries for 44 Yds & 1 TD, becoming the 23rd player in program history to reach 1,000 career rushing Yds; 🏈 Colton Rose, 4 Recs for 74 Yds & 1 TD; 🏈 Nyir Jones, an 89-yard Kickoff Return TD; 🏈 Jaylen Booth, 6 Tackles (1 Solo & 5 Ast); 🏈 Jason Thome, 5 Tackles (3 Solo & 2 Ast) with 1 TFL; 🏈 Oliver Welch, 1 INT; & 🏈 Maliek Jamison, 1 Blocked Punt. With the win, CSU Pueblo improves to 8-0 (6-0 RMAC), extends its DII-best RMAC win streak to 31 straight games, and extends its DII-best road win streak to 19 straight games, while Fort Lewis falls to 2-5 (1-5 RMAC). The ThunderWolves return home to the ThunderBowl next Saturday (10/31) to host BHSU at 1:00 (MT), while Fort Lewis hits the road to take on Chadron St. Here are a few highlights from the ThunderWolves' road win: #RMAC #RMACfb #CSUPuebloFB #BackThePack

CSU Pueblo had a record setting day, putting up video game numbers in their 72-7 win over Adams St on Saturday (10/3/26). The Thunderwolves’ offense gained a ridiculous 377 yards and 4 TDs through the air. However, they topped that by gaining an even more ridiculous 450 yards and 5 TDs on the ground. For the game, CSU Pueblo’s put up 827 yards of total offense, 9 TDs, and 3 FGs. The defensive unit also did an incredible job as they held Adams St to just 147 yards of total offense (70 in the air and 77 on the ground). On special teams, Jackson Smith led the way going 3 for 3 for field goals, making from 50, 48, and 25 yards out. Leading the way for CSU Pueblo were: 🏈 Navi Bruzon, 14 Cmps on 24 Atts for 265 Yds & 2 TDs in addition to 1 rushing TD; 🏈 Evan Powell, 6 Cmps on 11 Atts for 112 Yds & 2 TDs as well as 33 Yds rushing and 2 rushing TDs; 🏈 Jaedon Matthews, 7 Carries for 108 Yds & 1 TD; 🏈 AJ Merrida, 9 Carries for 100 Yds & 1 TD; 🏈 Dedrek Taylor-Akins, 5 Recs for 109 Yds; 🏈 Jaylen Booth, 4 Tackles (2 Solo & 2 Ast) with 2 Sacks; & 🏈 Jason Thome, 4 Tackles (2 Solo & 2 Ast). The Thunderwolves head into the bye week undefeated and looking to heal up to continue what thus far has been a storybook season. Coming out of the bye, CSU Pueblo will be looking for their run defense to have another remarkable game when they take on NM Highlands’ high powered rushing attack. Here are a few of CSU Pueblo’s highlights from Saturday’s win: #RMAC #RMACfb #CSUPuebloFB #ToTheTop
