A popular claim says προορίζω means “mark out a pathway ahead of time.” The imagery is appealing, but does the Greek actually support it?
This article tests the claim against every NT occurrence.
The pathway is biblical. It just isn’t what προορίζω means

When Scripture says we “willingly” act, does it require the ability to choose otherwise under identical conditions?
Joseph’s brothers meant evil. God meant good. Their guilt remained.
This article asks whose definition of “willing” governs our reading.

Honestly, upon looking further at the new @dailygreek @doseofhebrew apps, it would be unfortunate if you did not go check out all of the free materials that they have on their website for students of the Bible.
Free teaching materials, audio Bibles and biblical texts all freely available to listen to, watch, and enjoy.
One of the coolest parts is that they have a manuscript section Beta that they are working on. As they add more manuscripts to that section, it will be an increasingly great source of information for the public.
Check it out below and go financially support their work as all of their materials are free to access and use. Seriously generous!
