Math BOY test average was 58%. Took the EOY test today. Average was 95%. So proud of the little brainiacs.
We had some extra time today and my kids BEGGED me to read with a buddy and make books by themselves. Sure lovelies. Keep on keepin on 🤟🏻

Is it just me, or do special education teachers continually get treated like second-class citizens?
When my students get something right I say “was there a little birdie on your ear telling you the answer?” And they know now to respond “no. It was my big juicy brain!” And honestly. They are so smart
I’d also like to say. Stop complaining about every little thing. Move on. Do what’s best for the kids. Stop harping on such small details that don’t matter.

I have an ELL student and he came to school knowing no English but yesterday he said “I love donuts!” And pointed to my lanyard (that has donuts) and I was like “si!!! Tambien”
