Vote Yes on 3! The passage of Amendment 3 will be the largest property tax relief in a generation. At the same time, local governments will still take in far more in property tax revenue than they would have had revenues merely kept pace with inflation and population growth since 2019.

Yes on 3!
In just the past seven years, property tax revenues across Florida’s 67 counties have increased nearly 100 percent. Local governments are taking in almost twice as much money—for more than the inflation in population has increased. The State of Florida has reduced its budget FOUR YEARS in a row. Local governments can surely do the same. Amendment 3 creates a path to full elimination of property taxes for homesteaded Floridians. It also provides immediate and meaningful relief for Florida residents by expanding the homestead exemption from non-school property taxes. Vote YES on Amendment 3!

In 2019, local governments took in $32 billion in property tax revenue. In 2026, that number is now $62 billion. Had the 2019 revenue merely be adjusted for population growth and inflation through this year, it would amount to roughly $49 billion — $13 billion less than current revenue collections. Why not return some of that extra $13 billion to taxpayers?

Hurricane Isaias is now a major hurricane, reaching category 3 status. While forecasters predict it will weaken before landfall, we are prepared to respond to it even if it doesn’t.

Keep in mind re: the path of Isaias that the east side of the storm will generate storm surge while areas on the western side of the storm could see water sucked out. If the storm makes landfall in Pensacola as the NHC suggests, it would likely cause water to recede in Mobile Bay while producing storm surge throughout the FL panhandle. If it enters along the lines of the models that have it coming ashore in Mobile, that will still yield major storm surge for NW FL counties.
Hurricane Isaias. Latest Friday AM Spaghetti Models and NHC cone. Google DeepMind and HCCA and NHC have settled close to one another. Possible Major Hurricane nearing landfall likely. This is going to end up with some significant impacts for some. Listen to local authorities and take this seriously if in the path. Currently 110mph and likely strengthening. spaghettimodels.com in

Interest on the debt exceeds spending on the federal government’s core function: national defense. And it is only getting more costly to service the debt.
America's national debt is now approaching $40 trillion — a staggering jump from about $907 billion just four decades ago, with no sign of slowing down. Interest payments on the debt now cost the federal government more than Medicare and the defense budget, and the Congressional Budget Office projects the national debt could climb to $54 trillion over the next decade as the population ages, healthcare costs rise and higher interest rates continue to drive up borrowing costs. Economists warn that servicing the growing debt could leave less money for priorities like infrastructure, education and research, while polls show a majority of Americans want reducing the federal budget deficit to be a top priority.

Thank you, though we went on the win the biggest victory for a Republican in a governor’s race in FL history in 2022. And we went from a Democrat voter registration advantage to a 1.5 million Republican advantage. Good enough for me.

Fauci was drunk on his own (media-conferred) power.
Aside from hiding what he knew about COVID origins, Fauci’s diary reveals his love for the newfound fame COVID brought him. Here he is fan-girling over Barbara Streisand and Amazon’s “ALEXA.”

Ron DeSantis is the best political leader in the country and it isn’t close. New York and California are a financial disaster, while Florida is one success story after another If he were a Democrat, the media would throwing parades in his honor celebrating his accomplishments
Finalizing budget review/vetoes and I can report: FY 26-27 will be the fourth straight year that Florida has reduced its budget. Rainy day fund = full (and more than triple the size from 2019). The budget represents 44% of the size of the budget of New York (the state closes to FL in population, with NY having between 3 and 4 million fewer residents).

🔥🔥🔥 only 1776 copies
In honor of America 250, I’ve re-released my first book, Dreams From Our Founding Fathers (2011), with a new introduction. Friends and supporters have asked me to do this over the years, but I didn’t want to mass market the book, so we’ve only released 1776 copies — all signed and numbered by me. Check it out at desantis1776.com
