🚨 STILL UNIDENTIFIED 💔 NEARLY ONE YEAR LATER 🚨 SOMEONE KNOWS HER NAME
The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who has remained unidentified for nearly a year after a devastating crash in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
On May 18, 2025, at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers from the 35th District responded to a report of a critical injury crash in the 4800 block of North Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
According to investigators, the driver of a gray 2007 Cadillac CTS was traveling northbound on Broad Street when an unidentified female pedestrian was reportedly standing in the roadway. As the vehicle approached, the woman stepped directly into the path of the vehicle.
Emergency crews with the Philadelphia Fire Department transported the woman to Einstein Medical Center, where she was admitted in critical condition.
Now, in March 2026, nearly a full year later, this woman remains hospitalized and has still not been identified.
Somewhere, someone may be missing her.
Someone may recognize her face but not realize she has been lying in a hospital bed all this time.
Police are hoping the public can help give her back her name.
If you recognize this woman or have any information that could help identify her, please contact the Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Division at 215-685-3180 or call the tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
Please look closely at her photo and share this post. Someone out there may know exactly who she is.

Saw this on Fb and wanted to share.
Rest in peace, soldier.
The watch has ended, and history grows quieter. At 102, Jessie Alton Mahaffey, the last living survivor of the USS Oklahoma, has crossed the final horizon, leaving behind the final human voice of that shattered morning at Pearl Harbor. On December 7, 1941, the Oklahoma rolled beneath a burning sky. Trapped steel became a tomb for 429 sailors. Jessie, then only a young man, fought through darkness and flooding, clawing his way to air while the sea claimed his brothers. He did not escape alone, he carried them with him for the rest of his life.🕊️🇺🇸⚓
Fate was relentless. Months later, the ocean tested him again with the sinking of the USS Northampton. Twice claimed by war. Twice returned. A survivor marked not by luck, but by an unbreakable will and a lifelong burden of remembrance.
For more than eight decades, Jessie stood as a living memorial, bearing witness so the fallen would never fade into silence. Now, his long duty is complete.
He has gone to rejoin the crew he never forgot.

Please find statement below on behalf of Mayor Pat Burns:
I am pleased to announce that today, the City Attorney filed a lawsuit on behalf of the City of Huntington Beach in federal court challenging California’s Sanctuary State Law as a violation of the U.S. Constitution and directing City officials to violate various U.S. federal immigration laws. We are fighting the Sanctuary State Law because it obstructs our ability to fully enforce the law and keep our community safe. When the stakes are currently so high, with reports of increases in human trafficking, increases in foreign gangs taking over apartment buildings in the U.S., killing, raping, and committing other violent crimes against our citizens, we need every possible resource available to fight crime, including federal resources. Huntington Beach will not sit idly by and allow the obstructionist Sanctuary State Law to put our 200,000 residents at risk of harm from those who seek to commit violent crimes on U.S. soil.
City Attorney Michael Gates stated, “this legal challenge is incredibly strong. The Sanctuary State Law violates the Supremacy and Naturalization Clauses of the U.S. Constitution, forces our City officials to violate federal immigration laws under 8 U.S. Code, Sections 1324 and 1373, and 18 U.S. Code, Sections 371 and 372. Additionally, it violates various State Constitutional provisions and State statutes. It is unfortunate that we have to fight the State of California in order to achieve sound and effective law enforcement policies. We will continue to fight for the safety of our community relentlessly and with vigor.” Former Mayor and current Council Member Tony Strickland said, “I support this fight, 100%. Keeping our community safe is fundamental to our leadership as City Council. For the State to create a communication and coordination barrier between us and the Federal Government in order to protect violent criminals is unthinkable. We have to fight this.” This lawsuit has been filed in the Central District of California, a copy of which can be found at bit.ly/406qW5p
