Gondola from MV Center to San Sophia remains closed indefinitely at this time while crews continue to work to fix the issue. Buses are still running between Tride's Oak St Plaza & Blue Mesa in MV. Skiers can access Tride via Tride Trail or load @ San Sophia.

Section 2 of the gondola (from MV Center to San Sophia) remains down at this time while crews work hard to resolve the mechanical issue. Section 1 (from Telluride to San Sophia) is open for skiers and buses are still running between Mountain Village and Telluride.

Section three, between Market Plaza and MV Center, is running.
Buses are running between Blue Mesa and Oak Street in Telluride.

The mainline of the gondola (between TMV & Telluride) is temporarily down due to mechanical issues. Buses are running from Blue Mesa to Oak Plaza while crews work to resolve the issue. Gondola from Village Center to Market Plaza is running.

UPDATE: (9:10 a.m. 12/14) Mainline gondola (Section 1) from Town of Telluride to San Sophia Station is now open for skier access. Section 2, from San Sophia to Mountain Village Center remains closed. Buses continue to run from Oak Street Plaza to Blue Mesa.

We continue to take the health and safety of our community very seriously on the gondola. Teams are disinfecting cabins consistently throughout the day as a precautionary measure, and hand sanitizer is available at all stations.
