The birth of a Joey (baby kangaroo) is the same for tree kangaroos. Nature is so amazing. This tiny baby climbs into the pouch completely blind being guided by the mum’s licking and smell of the pouch. facebook.com/share/p/18bwi9s…

A female kangaroo will have her first young as early as 2 years of age and continues the cycle of life. We love this video. Something you don’t get to see everyday.

Once in the pouch, it attaches itself to a teat for 6-8 months then is big enough to follow mum around on foot for a few more months until it’s completely independent by 18 months.

Thank-you to all of our donors and partners. We would not exist without you. Thank-you to all of the villages who want to protect the tree kangaroos and their land from destructive practices like logging. Without you we would have no reason to be here.💚🌳 facebook.com/share/v/1BAcQAM…
