It still stands $50k is good. I see ppl say s#it like "Just invest the money, or put it in a bank"!As someone who going thru some s#it RIGHT NOW, I had about $40K to the side and I had to pull it out. I GOT ASKED SOOOOO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MONEY. AND I HAD PROOF IT WAS LEGAL
Just want to remind everyone that the average annual income for a black h household in the US is $56K...and thats up from where we were 10 years ago. Having 50K in savings would mean you've been saving 5K a year for 10 years which is EXTREMELY rare for black households.
