A 3? I FUCKIN THIRD? I swear I hate this team so much
Trade! The Colts are sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
🥺🥺🥺
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency.
But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
That “Anthony Richardson Sr. will start for the Colts against the Jaguars” notification better hit my phone before Wednesday
I believe he should be back in 2027. Let’s see what he can do with a competent GM who’ll actually improve the team instead of “believing in his guys” to save money
The Colts are reportedly expected to give Shane Steichen an opportunity to prove he deserves to remain head coach, per @JFowlerESPN and @DanGrazianoESPN.
Steichen’s job is not believed to be in immediate danger following Chris Ballard’s firing.
Thoughts?
I just watched Dune 1 and 2 for the first time
I have 0 clue on WTF was going on but visually, it was one of the best I’ve seen
Trading mediocre for mediocre? I’ll pass
If the Colts end up moving on from Shane Steichen, Mike Tomlin would be one of my first calls. The guy went 19 seasons in Pittsburgh without a losing record, won a Super Bowl, and managed to keep that team competitive even when the quarterback situation was a mess. He’s got his critics, especially with the lack of recent playoff success, but there’s no questioning his ability to lead a football team.
That said, I think the bigger priority is getting the GM hire right first. Let the new GM have a real say in who coaches this team and make sure they’re on the same page from day one. The Colts have spent too many years trying to make different pieces fit together instead of building something with a clear direction.
That’s part of what makes Tomlin interesting to me. He’s experienced, respected, and knows exactly what he wants in a football operation. Pair him with the right GM, give them a shared vision and let them build it together. I wouldn’t want Carlie hiring Tomlin just because he’s a big name, or forcing him on a GM who wants someone else. But if both sides want to work together, that’s a conversation I’d absolutely have.

Shut yo dumbass up
They’ll never admit it, but they screwed up when they fired Ryan Grigson, who never had a losing season, always had the team in the hunt, and was only given one head coach. Ballard was allowed to go through several. They anointed Ballard the “greatest GM hire of the 21st century,” but they failed to realize that acquiring talent means nothing without accountability or a culture focused on winning. Instead, they focused on media access, being popular, and being politically correct. Ten years with zero to hang their hat on. Not even a single division title. Here's a prediction: they’ll now ask for a new stadium or threaten to leave.
