"Open-Air Preaching doesn't work"... "People will think you're angry"... "That type of evangelism doesn't work anymore"... "only weird people do that" 👇This shows otherwise. Pastor's let's get out of the office and Preach the Word!
Lots of handshakes at the end for an atheist, no?

You won't find a single quote from a church father saying that green slimy aliens aren't real, therefore they're real.
The Church Fathers unanimously taught that Mary was sinless. You won't find a single quote from a Church Father explicitly saying that Mary sinned.

Christ has said, be of good cheer. I've overcome. I've overcome. The Lamb has overcome. The Lamb has been slain & yet He's been raised. It's all finished. Now rest in Him as He's offered in the gospel. Lay hold on Him with the hand of faith. Come to Him & He'll not cast you out.

Hiked 14 miles through grizzly country to the top of the Rockies yesterday with a couple of guys from the Nobleford church. "For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also."
I had the great privilege of preaching twice at Nobleford Presbyterian Church (FCC) this past Lord's Day, plus another service this Wednesday and Bible studies & soul winning throughout the week. My first time out of the country in years, and first time in Canada since 2010. The congregation is warm and pious, and very hospitable. Please pray for both them and myself.

1. Go where the people are. This is what Paul did. He reasoned in the synagogue because the Jews were there, and in the marketplace because the people were there. 2. Look for foot traffic. Even better, look for people who will be standing around for a while. Bus stops, lines outside venues, campus walkways between classes, and intersections with long lights, etc. 3. Consider the sound. Traffic, machinery, and construction can make a location practically useless. Find a place where your voice carries and where you can preach plainly without having to scream yourself hoarse. Look for areas with Good acoustics. 4. Know where you’re standing. Learn the property lines, the local ordinances, and any restrictions on amplification. Keep doors and walkways clear, and other common sense courtesies. 5. Keep going back. There is much to be said for preaching at the same place, on the same day, week after week. People get to know you. Some who laughed at you in the beginning may eventually approach you with serious questions. I've seen this a lot. 6. Pray, and get on with it. Choose a place and go preach. You can spend so much time looking for the perfect location that you never actually preach.

Brother, how do you pick the place you are going to street preach?

When street preaching, hecklers & hard questions draw a crowd, so don't resent it. Answer the question behind the question & turn it back to Christ. Genuine questions should be answered genuinely. Don't get baited into rabbit trails, and never insult, mock, or match their tone.

Making it illegal to practice Islam anywhere in the USA should be common sense. And for those afraid that doing so would produce the same scene as France, it only proves the point. What a wicked cult.

Somewhere along the way I realized I needed to be preaching on hell way more than I have been. And yet, McCheyne is also right when he told Bonar, "Were you able to preach it with tenderness?"

“Be of good comfort, Master Ridley, and play the man. We shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.”
Hugh Latimer and Nicholas Ridley were martyred on this day in 1555. In this painting by Hermann Schweder, the younger Ridley helps the elder Latimer on the way to the stake on Broad Street in Oxford.
