I’ve heard the saying that “God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers.” But when I see the disciples that Jesus chose and suffered for His name sake, I don’t see Him choosing the “toughest soldiers”, as I learn about men and women in the past and even today who have laid down their lives for Jesus, once again I don’t see God choosing His “toughest soldiers.” But I see a strong and mighty God choosing weak men and woman, and empowering them by His Holy Spirit to face some of the toughest battles and be used for His glory.
I once thought I was a “tough soldier” until I met Jesus, I then realized that I’m so weak without Him, and apart from Jesus I can’t do anything. I need Jesus daily. The only way that I can truly become who God wants me to be and truly do what God wants me to do, is not by my power not by my might, but only by The Spirit of The Living God. Thank you Jesus.

Have you ever shared the Gospel with someone and they say something like,
“Well, I’m glad religion works for you. You do seem like a happier person.”
They’re not hostile.
They’re not angry.
They’re just… passive.
It’s almost like their heart is closed to it.
You walk away thinking, “Why didn’t that connect?”
Why is it that some people hear the message about Jesus and respond immediately…
while others seem completely unaffected?
Jesus actually answers that question for us.

Wild: Indiana superstar QB Fernando Mendoza was asked about his favorite pregame hype song.
"I honestly don't listen to hype songs because I have to stay cool, calm, and collected. I actually meditate and pray before the game. I think praying, in a way, is meditation to help myself be in my thoughts, as Quarterback is a cerebral position."
This kid is going to be special 😭😭

“Couldn't find my keys this morning and was late for church, only to come upon Jacksonville Jaguars Travis Hunter getting baptized!” a church attendee said.
“He asked to come get baptized before today's game. Thank you Jesus for touching this young man's life!”

I don’t care if Cam Skattebo is slow.
I don’t care if his game “isn’t sustainable.”
I don’t care if “teams are lower on him than the media.”
He’s an absolute dawg who elevated his team on the biggest stage. 3-down back who can do EVERYTHING.
Congrats Huskies!

COACHES: If you want players to "trust the process", then make sure that you have a good process and, most importantly, you are somebody worth trusting.
