I just tweeted about the show to a television critic and came upon this by accident. I'll take it as a "hello" from Johnny. I miss him so much.

Lord of Life, You have given us the gift of water, source of fruitfulness, freshness, and hope. It quenches thirst, nourishes the earth, and heals wounds. We see with pain so many brothers and sisters who lack clean water, who walk for miles to find it, who become ill due to its scarcity. Forgive us for turning it into a commodity, forgetting that it is a universal gift, a right without borders, meant for all your children. Let’s #PrayTogether at popesprayer.va/praywiththepo…

Brie Larson should’ve had a
• Solo trilogy
• A couple of appearances in different TV shows
•More than one post-credit cameo
• Led two Avengers movies
•A team up episode in Ms.Marvel Season Two
•A role in Avengers: Doomsday
She should’ve had all that by now

I think that when we’re looking at fairy tales and epics and mythologies, rather than dismissing mentions of textiles or looms as plot devices and symbology, we should instead consider there are actual, real world connections which enhance the story if you understand them.

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas

‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ and ‘Skeleton Crew’ have the same vibe as those short Star Wars EU young adult novels from the 90s.
'Galaxy of Fear' and 'Zorba the Hutt's Revenge' come to mind.

@Jon_Favreau Thank you for “The Mandalorian and Grogu.” A 12 year-old when Star Wars came out, I was “too old” for the toys but got to play with them babysitting kids who owned them. The Dejarik scene was amazing! Thanks also to Ludwig Göransson for “The Third Man” version of 1/2

@NewRockstars Love your Mando & Grogu lead up video. Want to give the names of actors of the characters you focused on: Taika Waititi, Omid Abtahi, Emily Swallow, Ming-Na Wen, Temeura Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Simon Kassianides, Mercedes Varnado, Diana Lee Inosanto, Mark Hamill,
I cannot wait to visit this museum! Thank you, George Lucas for your amazing storytelling, lifelong artistry, & influence on cinema & story-based multimedia. Thank you, Mellody Hobson, for your shared vision in making the museum a reality. ❤️ xitter.cf/lucasmuseum/status/205…

Instead of worrying that humanities degrees don’t prepare students for jobs in today’s world [product managers finance consultants startups], we should worry that we’ve created a world with such little value for literature, art, philosophy—anything that expresses the human soul

Literature is humanity’s longest conversation with itself about what it means to be alive. It has been going on for thousands of years. You are not late, you are not unqualified, you are not too much or too little or too broken. Pull up a chair. This conversation was always about you.

@RealTimers Regarding the Yale study cited in your May 1, 2026, show, with the 36 to 1 ratio of Democrat to Republican, affiliated professors at Yale, I think that a lot of Republican voters go into fields where they will make more money than they would in education. 1/
7% of contributions went to Democratic-affiliated entities . . . 8% [to] candidates from both parties.”
The political dividing line seems to be between profit and nonprofit institutions. 3/
