One of the last things I did with my dad before he passed was watch the Christmas Eve come back win against the Titans. Thanks for the memories @PeteCarroll
Bro my grandpa literally just died, Pete Carroll retiring would leave me grandpa-less and hopeless

Someday, orgs will learn to engage UX or PM teams in buying enterprise software, so someone gets clarity on requirements before writing a big check for an implementation that will fail.

Figma acquisition shows how hard it is to turn money into software. You'd think for $20B you could build something as good as Figma yourself, but you can't. Software is art.

Austin has a housing problem, to put it mildly. I wrote about the city's effort to revise its land development code and build more affordable housing — and the lawsuit that stopped it — for @CityLab bloomberg.com/news/features/…

The hardest part of UX design? Stakeholder management. Soft skills become more important than hard skills as we move up the career ladder.

I'm hearing more and more designers resistant to the extensive interview process. Take home assignments, whiteboard challenges, 1 hour portfolio presentations etc This can be exhausting and feel like a full time job. Does this need to change? How could this be improved?

☺️ me, a designer — we should introduce a nice little walkthrough for first time users to help educate them on the product 😬 me, a user — dear god get rid of this thing I'll figure it out myself

This is correct. We worked our asses off to deliver a Democratic Senate. Are you going to do something to deliver for the women who got you elected or just fundraise off of it?
We can't just wait around for Trump's conservative justice to take away our right to make our own decisions about our own bodies. No. We can act NOW and we must. End the filibuster, pass the Women's Health Protection Act, and reaffirm that reproductive rights are human rights.
